Built for Battle, When to Increase Weight?

Hi Coach,

I started your Built for Battle program doing Group 3. I intend to stay with that group for 4 weeks and wanted to know about increasing the weight. While you do not outline specifically when or how much to increase the weight, my thinking is that any increase in weight will be determined on Mondays when finding my 3RM for the week. Is my assumption correct, and if so, should I be looking to increase my 3RM week to week or after I have completed the 4 weeks? Thank you for the clarification.

Aim to hit a higher 3RM each week.

Exactly, it’s autoregulatory. Going for a 3RM means that you work up to the maximum weight you can lift that day. Normally it should go up from week to week a bit. And since the rest of the days are based on the 3RM, then the weights will be adjusted automatically.
