Building My Own Weight Vest

I think the same thing alot of times;…sometimes I’m right; others I’m not.

O.k. I used the hunters vest idea an used ankle/wrist weights I found @ garage sales… 25cents to $1. per 5lbs.Can’t beat that price.got it up to bout 25lbs; however it wasn;t good for explosive movements.Maybe i just need a smaller size vest.

I use my school backpack… and fill it with plates. I can get atleast 205lbs in it.

I haven’t read through the thread, so I don’t know if it’s already been mentioned, but I just use 2 of my old school bags (too much weight in one will rip it). I put one on my back, and one on the front. Inside them, I put dumbbells.

what fun would that be? just sounds too easy, nothing like a diesel homemade weight vest. well… we will see about that.

im looking at buying a tactical vest from my local army surplus store. throw some steel rods in & it should be sweet…
