I think it will handle the small window fine, I know the leaner I was, the more drastic (in a good way) my body responded to increased carbs. A few higher carb meals and you should be filling out nicely.
However, worry about pre-judging, not the evening show. At least as far as I know, the decision is pretty much made all at pre-judging.[/quote]
Good call, I plan to stay up late tonight as I have been resting lots today to make sure I can get enough time to fill out. also I have not been consuming much in light of making weigh ins though where I stand now i should be fine.
I keep checking the mirror everytime I walk by to make sure my abs are still there haha
Update: Made Welterweight and they called the weigh ins in classes so I got to see my competition and even though it is a lower class it is stiff! I am excited for tomorrow and for the excitment that it will bring.

NS has producded the most IFBB pros in canada when compared to any other provinces recently—you bet tomorrow there will be some great competitors showing up
Just popping by to wish you luck brother. You’ve certainly made an amazing transformation, and yeah, the tan makes such a difference! Wait until you see pics of yourself onstage, under the lights. I still look at old photos of myself and it blows my mind -lol.
And remember to enjoy every little thing. So much time goes into prepping for a contest, and (trust me) it will go by soooo quickly!
Well that was one hell of an experience! I did not expect the intensity of being onstage and for someone who has been very anxious to compete or be in front of people, It felt like I belonged up there.
I did not place but I got top five and had the opportunity to also perform my routine, which was great! I nailed it and did not mess up once.
It was a very strong class and conditioning was definitely a strong point for the competitors. I got the whole “You belonged up there in the top three” speech, but between them and my mother I will always be # 1 haha.
I will not go into detail about the day of the show just yet, I wanted to take the time to let everyone know how I did first and that next step is nationals!
Today is going to be about relaxing and spending time with the wife and pups that have so dearly compromised so much to help me get to this point so I will update full length show day when I get to work tonight, yes, right back to the old grind!
Thank you guys for the help in this journey, this is only the beginning!
You can never predict what sort of competition you may face on game day, all you can do is bring your best. For a first showing, you look damn put together in that photo, size, symmetry, and conditioning all very respectable. If you choose to compete again, you now have a gauge as to where you need to be with your size and conditioning.
Sounds like you had a great experience. Much congrats.
I’ve been watching your progress on here, you did a great job and have been very inspirational. Thank you for sharing your journey through this contest prep.

Thanks, I had a great time and fortunately one of the judges is willing to offer feedback on competitors. I am sure he has a long list to work through, but I will be able to see where I need to improve. I have learned so much from the experience and look forward to competing again!
