I need some help. Im going to tell you like it is. Im 6’3 160 lbs but you wouldnt believe it if you saw me. Im trying to put some meat on my arms chest and waist and I cant seem to pull it together. I work out everyday and eat like an ape. So basically I need some help.
Look up west side for skinny bastards.
i usually eat 2 peanut butter sandwhichs at school for lunch along with a bbq baked potatoe, and when i get home i have a bowl of cereal and for dinner its what ever is being made (usually chicken or beef with potatoes and vegies and what not)
idk if i need to find some test booster or what, i really dont know to much about the subject so i wouldnt even know where to start
I very much doubt that you need a test booster. Go read nutrition for newbies.
Hi Fella,
You dont need a test booster, You need to read some articles and eat more.
2 peanut butter sandwiches should be a snack at some point in the day, Evening probarly.
Simple as bmitch said, If your not gaining weight your not eating enough, Your only eating enough calories to maintain your weight or you might even be below that.
Try and eat at least every 3 hours during the day, 5-6 meals, Instead of having small snacks turn it into meals.
Anyways Eat Clean and Train hard…
First, how old are you? If you’re 16, you’re not that unusual. Even if you’re older it’s the same issue, just harder to change habits.
You need to learn how to eat. Read the nutrition stickies. Young people often have very fast metabolism and that’s a good thing but it does make it hard. You need to eat a lot but not indescrimantly. Avoid sugar and refined grains. Eat protein and veggies with every meal. Eat lots of high calorie, high nutrient carbs. (Potatoes, pasta, sweet potatoes, squash, pumpkin, beets, carrots, whole grains, dairy, beans, etc) Get lots of good fats (Olive oil and fish oil are best). Avoid deep fried foods and any prepackaged foods.
Find out how many calories you consume and eat more than that.
Training should be based on large compound movements.

from the sounds of it your idea of “eating like an ape” equates to eating like a “school girl.” Read the above post for types of food to eat, then read a few more articles, and look up Dave Tate’s food log or Pudzianowski’s. That’s eating huge.

well im just going by what friends have said I usually eat triple as much as any of my friends but i went out and bought some high protein and high calorie foods, and so far tuna sandwhiches seem to be working ive gained about 5 lbs in 5 days. I can’t really see any improvment but the scale says otherwise.
If anyone has anymore sugestions for high calorie foods it would save me alot of searching.
Also what type of creatine would you recommend pill? powder? specific brand?
Biotest Creatine
Monohydrate powder any brand. although Biotest’s is cheaper/probably better quality (never purchased from here)
Surprisingly, it might seem you eat a lot, but in reality when you add up all the calories the total might not even meet your required daily intake for gaining weight. I was doing really shitty for awhile because I THOUGHT I ate a lot, but I was only getting like 2800 calories a day. To remedy this problem I just doubled what I ate and so far, I’m seeing progress every 2-3 weeks or so.
yea its kind of hard for me to keep a calorie count because my school doesnt but any labels on their food so i have no idea how much im taking in at school.
Doubling my food intake seems to be working, but id like to find something to speed it up a bit.

5 lbs in 5 days is either wrong, or you are suddenly retaining a lot of water, or you have suddenly managed to consume an excess of 3500 calories a day.
start a food log and then you will know exactly where you are. when you have established a baseline weigh yourself once a week, same day, same time, same scales. look for a trend over a few weeks. if you are gaining then great keep it up. if you are maintaining then increase by 500- 1000 calories a day, this will give you an approx 1- 2 lb increase per week. if you are losing then you will need to increase further.it’s not rocket science just simple physics. more energy in than is burn’t =mass gained.
it’s harder than it sounds and as you do gain size the numbers of calories will need to increase still further of course.
and most of all be patient. real size gains take TIME.
If you gained 5 lbs in 5 days, take a few pisses then you will be 5 lbs lighter gauranteed
