Sluggish day was sluggish. Long day at work, lots of boring busy work, blah blah. Ate less than perfect, decided to go do some cardio and random stuff… which I almost talked myself out of. Basically just 30min incline walking, worked up a good stretch, PVC rolling, some mobility work, and a quick calf superset and then done. Im glad I did it even though it was not fun at the time, ha.

There should be a 1 hour siesta period for every office job.

Long work day blahblah, but had a good workout. Strength was very very poor tho on squats, not totally sure why. 425 felt like a goddamned 9000. I’unno. A lil knee discomfort too. Aggressive foam rolling at the end. Took a nice long warmup to get my head and my body into the game.

Jesus, I don’t even know what the eff I’ve been eating, but last today I looked so g’damned smooth and watery, you’d think I was the Koolaid man. Changing into my gym attire after work, my body dysmorphia made my belly look like i was pregnant. was sad to see. sad times. might fast all day sunday to compensate. going to get bbq with a buddy in a bit PWO, which isn’t gonna help, but gotta live a lil sometimes.

DB laterals / rear delt flies / presses – 3 rounds thru for teh pumpz

Seated military press – had to jerryrig a MP station in a squat rack. Used 25s and 45s to “lock” the bench into place, cuz last time I was doing this I almost flipped over. Still wasn’t perfect, but not that bad.

225 x 6.5 – grrr, dumped the 7th rep. I think if I had a more confident base to press from I would have pushed it out.
45 sec rest t pull off plates, then 135 x 15.

DB laterals - plain ol laterals

– switch to partials superset with top half ROM squeezed laterals
70s x 15 / 10s x 10
70s x 15 / 10s x 10

Front raises (nice sexy squeezes / Rear delt flies
30s x 10 LR / 20s x 25 → 3 times through

2 sets cable rope front raises / face pulls.

DB shrugs w/ 3 sec hold – god that shit sucks so much

Cable shrug row thing, 1 set finisher

Hey as long as you enjoy life to its fullest you only live once. Eat the food you love kill the workouts and love your job, and enjoy your friends and family. Obviously dont turn into the Pillsbury dough boy that would shorten that great life. Sorry for the rambling i was actually thinking about this recently. Sometimes you just have to enjoy the little things like eating some crap while hanging out with friends. (end of terrible rant derail)

Hah, thanks for the concern everyone. I was just severely water-logged and should not have been wearing a beater lollll. After the workout, as my bud and I were waiting for the food, I started tightening up quite a bit and looked quite dece. So no worries mates! It was kinda funny though, after demolishing the BBQ and candy and sitting there paralyzed for a few, I went to relieve myself at my buddy’s bathroom… and def clogged the toilet, lol, after he jokingly asked me not to. Whoops!

dixie – yes! Red Koolaid is scientifically proven to provide 150% better absorption peri-workout. TBH, it’d prob work quite well.

I would agree that Red Koolaid is vastly superior based on it’s proven anabolic effects.

IMHO, Orange Drink is superior to Koolaid for certain portions of the population, based on it’s flavor, convenient to carry 1 gallon container and the easily absorbed fast-acting insulin spiking designer carbohydrates of 300 grams of HFCS.
