Kind of a strange day. Some plans came up for this evening, eliminating the chance of an evening work out. Didn?t really feel up to hitting back anyways, so I figured I?d go during lunch and do a little light session of biceps and maybe some calves and abs. As I was mulling this over, we lost power in our building, and apparently all over our area of downtown Boston. Luckily, the gym has its own generator or something crazy, so was a perfect chance to head over there. I decided that doing biceps, and only biceps (no back, no bis and tris) feels weird.
Lat pulldown OH curls: crazy pump to start. First portion of set the reps were squeezed for a full second, second portion were pump reps.

50 x 10 / 10
60 x 8 / 8
70 x 8 / 8 Super painful.
Olympic barbell curls: nothing fancy. Felt like doing these relatively heavy.

Steep incline bench DB preacher: slow negatives, hard squeezes
17.5 x 12 LR, 12 LR, 10 LR (super long squeezes)
Meadows hammer curls: had nothing.
30s x 10 LR
45s x 8 LR
30s x a lot. Arms together regular hammers, up to ears, then regular, then alternating.
20 min of calf and ab stuff. Weird day. Lol.
The Lyon: Puh-lease. Your bench numbers are better now, and if they’re not, they will be in a month. You could hit 315x10 in your sleep. Plus, now that you squat practically a ton, deadlift over 9000, and overhead a SmartCar, the world is your oyster.

I pumped the hell out of my hamstrings today, bug style.
I was afraid today was going to be a forgettable session because i had noooo energy going into it. Even with plenty of pre-workout stims, was walking around in a daze, work on my mind, etc etc. Took my time warming up per usual, but just couldn’t get into it. Pullups felt fine, but still nothing amazing. Wasn’t till I had to bring it for heavy deadlifts that the rest of the session was money. Thank youuu [ELITE] movements!

Finished with a few sets of rope stiff-armed pulldowns, then a hanging lat stretch.
For funsies: EZ bar reverse curls: I never do r. grip curls, but it seemed like a good idea.
35 x 15, 15, 15, 15 – diff grips, squeezing, slow negs, etc. Always fun to get a forearm pump.
