Bug: Luvin U

Session started kinda “meh”, but picked up. No amazing numbers today, and I couldn’t get into my benching today, but it’s ok, just more fuel for next week.

After the gym I got some sick news, so I’m feeling ecstatic. My bro landed a really sick internship, and is pretty much set for life now. He took my guidance to get it, so I’m super proud.

Dynamic warmup

Bench press - just felt stiff and jittery, dunno what was going on today.

Flat DB press - incline’s been feeling shitty, so why not give these a go. I always have a hard time kicking flat DB’s up into place, but all felt good today. Prob been close to a year since I’ve done these.

Incline cable flies - NEW STAPLE. Fuck yes.
4 sets of 10-12. Crazy.

One-armed HS incline press
1 plate x 12 LR, 10 LR, 8 LR (no real rest). Some most muscular posin’ between sets.

Did tris a little differently to mix it up. Didn’t get an insane pump, but I think they’ll be pretty sore.

Overhead v-bar extensions
6 sets I think, up to the stack (150) for 10 reps. Dropped the weight to about 60 and did 15 quick pressdowns to get some more blood in there.

Smith RGBP - Good movement. Will have to regroove these.

3 sets of 15, squeezed, no rest, I think with 35 lbs.

Jake - lol, h8rz. :slight_smile: It’s a long road man, that can’t really be forced or rushed, unless you wanna get fat, which I don’t think many of us want. So keep whittling away and get that morning bodyweight about 200. :slight_smile:

Achilles - ha, thanks brotha. I think I’m just a bit softer, idk how much muscle I’ve really put on this year, if any. Being natty is depressing sometimes. Hopefully next year will be better. :wink:

Lol, 120s are not very good, but for not doing them in forever I didn’t really care.

PROBLEM IS, that’s the heaviest DBs they have… might have to make the trek up to Det’s gym… just thought about that. Fuuuuuu.

Definitely 'mirin. Chests looking thick. The dumbbells at my Uni only go up to 110s… really want to be able to use them for benching/inc. benching before I leave!

Great fucking leg workout. I was really focused from the get go, which I imagine is due to Detty droppin this gem yesterday. Really got me in the mindset to smash some legs.

Dynamic warmup (pretty ridic how sore my chest and mid back are). My flexibility is getting better on the broomstick stretches, which is gooood.

10 min step mill. Really took from the video using it as a time to mentally prepare myself for the ensuing leg onslaught. Did different sorts of tempos and steps to focus on contracting glutes, hamstrings, calves, and quads. Had a nice sweat going (and I was in a longsleeve and sweatpants).

Jefferson squats - See the video. I felt like being adventurous. These were MURDER. I am no where near as flexible as Kai… stretches reallllly hard at the bottom. Definitely a keeper. Got interested looks.

Question, when you do the jefferson squats, is it 10 reps per leg position, or is it 10 total reps?
