I have been IF’ing just about every day since I learned about leangains back in like… February? So yeah, I try to fast from about 9PM till 1PM most days.

Flash, thanks man. Yeah when I was feeling good last week, 275 with the low incline CG was no problem. CG for me is index fingers on the smooth. Appreciate it though - lat spread is one of my better poses.

I’ve been training fasted in the morning(just bcaas) with no immediate consequences.

MIM - fasted i.e. fasted. :wink: As I get to the gym I sip on EAAs and some waxy maize, and BCAAs during, but no whey or solid food so to speak. I wouldn’t like to do it all the time for heavier, longer workouts, but in a pinch, it’s no big deal.

Jake - haha, thanks bro! Way definitely makes me look like a total child, but I’ll take that comparison! Yeah, my thick waist from the front doesnt help my taper any, but when I can suck away those luv handles with my hands, my back looks better.

Nice working weights on those SLDLs! I wanna get up to Evan weights, so maybe 425x5 next week, and we’ll go from there!

Monster benching Bug

No whey is it the bench set up that is working. It is obvi your utilization of the protocol known as 5/3/1.

Greg - only reason it’s going up is cuz I have to do better than you homie! Also, this Golds’ benches feel much MUCH more solid than the ones at school… Will miss them. Will be at that legit PL gym in a few weeks so no worries. 315x8 in the near future would be sweet.

Cruz - 531 def is giving me some nice structure. You taught me everything I know!

On a side note, I guess from having not done heavy SLDLs in a long time, my traps Lats and rhomboids are sore as SHIT. First sets on bench hurt like a mofo getting into position.

Jake - yeah, I’ve never really been a huge fan of them, but I got the urge, and instead if just going through the motions, I played with twisting around my body and moving my arm till I found the sweet spot. Will def keep.

Had a mediocre back day. Just couldn’t get into it, energy was low. Oh well. My back and hammies were still soo sore, foam rolling them was painful.

Sorry, but are you talking about benching or you did sldls out of the bench press Franco Columbu style ? If so I must comment that I read Steve Pulcinella talking about a dude who tried this and literally did a front flip to face plant once the bar went lower than he could manage.
