5 year - I’d like to be a lean 240 (10%). I’m sure this will happen faster once I explore other means, but I can’t fathom being bigger than this right now, lol. I JUST WANT SOME DECENT ARMS.

lifetime - i dunno. But I doubt I’ll ever walk around much heavier than 250ish (lean)… I don’t want to be a total freak, but you never know how that will change. If I have to bulk up into the 270s or w/e then so be it… but I know I’d like to hit a 550lbs raw bench, 365 military, squat in the 6s, etc etc.

So unrelated, but i just found out I’m flying to NYC next week for a legit interview with a very prestigious financial services firm! goddd so exciting. time to study my balls off.

Warmups and front squats took forever, and time was limited, so had to squeeze the other stuff in. Pretty minimal tho. Goal of the session was just to front squat with good technique. Felt decent, but needs lot o work.

IDK about current close grip strength. Since starting my slow gaining process ~5 weeks ago, I’ve been focusing on bringing up my regular grip bench to where it was when I was 40 lbs heavier (in addition to making accelerated progress on the other big movements squat, leg press, dl)

I think people used to think I was some kind of strength freak when I was starting to hang out on this site a few years ago, but I’m seeing now that’s really just because 1) noob gains and 2) I was eating my fucking face off and gaining weight, so I better have been getting stronger or I was just turning into the BK man (which I kinda did).

Flash - lean 250 is freak status haha, but I guess the longer I’m in this, the more attainable that seems, especially when I see others around me that are my age that are there. Nuts.

Fasted arm training this morning. Went really really well. High reps, very low rest, main part was done in about 40min. Those straight bar curls I think might be the best thing for my biceps… gonna start doing them a lot more regularly. I could barely even finish the first set because the pump was so goddamned painful.
