I watched a video of Donny Shankles-- he is back to training again and it was a real nice thing to see. He’s incredible, but its cool how calm, focused, freaking patient he seemed starting again from an injury. He also did some ohs really deep and so I did mine deep today too. Just a perfect time to see that video to remind me to be patient. And do things right.

I have chosen to work hose in a patient manner. Feet lined up right, no wild valgus/vargus’y caving permitted. So its was not a heavy wt 55-70 pounds.

I did have an interesting personal life kinda event this week that really threw me off but not really? I dunno. I would love to go into detail but I’m not sure how much would be hurtful to other people and I don’t want to do that. More of a memento for me to look at in the future when I go back and re-read my logs–which I do every now and then. i forget stuff like this. Felt good to be outside–well…as much as it can for a redhead. I enjoy all things overhead. Now I know I can carry - theoretically- Mossimo safely thru lava over my head if I had to. Wt being the only kinda barometer :}

90 pounds in an overhead carry, that is pretty bad-ass. Outside work out sounds good. Was the end of the work week tolerable?

Hey HKD!! I think if I’d use db’s overhead it’d be an impossible task. bb’s are easier to hold overhead. I am going to give some db a try next time!
Yes the work week finished uneventfully. Actually ended late last night. I work relief shifts at my old clinic so they call when they need some coverage. I usually do 3 or 4 6 hour shifts a month…and…MAN does it remind me that I made a good choice moving onto a new place.
