I used the weird plates again. My turbo gym has 2 11# plates, 2 5.5 pound plates, and 2 2.75 pound plate I like to use. Also a 33 pounds one so I can get wild with my calculator lifting party.

Lol that’s amazing! My friend and I got some 1lb dumbbells the other day and wedged them between the weights and the collars so that he could set a 2lb PR on the bench.

After the wt’d ones my ten reps get wild. Also, its hard for me to do them first thing when I wake up. So I vacuum a bit between sets.

Not sure why today sicked but it did. I don’t feel weak today, but it was just an off one. I tried not to get thrown off to much but alas…you know how it is.

I don’t even want to justify the things I lifted by logging them. They were crappy and all mixed up. I will take credit for my ghr’s though.

I get that sometimes too. Coordination or something is gone. Crazy pullups! Well crazy all lifts actually :slight_smile:

I applied to work at the humane society and I realized I would probably really like a job where I get to work with animals.

Maybe I’ll start off at the bottom of the food chain and get a job at a pet store or something since I don’t think these people will call me , LOL.

hey Coyote thanks! ARgh…I’m fixing to head ot the gum now and hope to avoid another stupid day. I ended up in a grumpy mood after yesterday’s lack luster. Like a total baby! ha!

I did 2 uspl meets about 2 years ago or so. They were very fun and a mass, definite motivation to train…but I hate benching and don’t back squat much anymore :{ If they had a front squat, dl, push press, pull up event? I’d be ALL over it!

Plus I can’t afford them…I barely scratch by with my pay check! But hey are very fun and full of very good vibes and encouragement! however…paying upwards of $100 to be in a federation then MORE to enter a meet…I can’t justify it. Maybe if I was really good or actually liked doing the lifts they require I’d be different.

SPOCK!! That’s great!! Oh I highly recommend working in the animal field!! I will warn you that it takes FOREVER at least in the states to hear from shelters about work. Give them some time! They seriously take forever!!

And the pay sucks hard. I get paid about the same a s a walmart cashier…but its a fun job. Animals make it worthwhile!!

I tried these squat thrust things I saw Jill Mils doing on a vid on my fb. She was usig 205…I started with 89#
