I don’t know how you resisted those candy corn cookie things for more than like three minutes.
Bless you for putting your fails on video. Also, it’s a joy to watch you work.
10 of 4 is fantastic on pull ups! Very nice work indeed. nod
If the front squat is what you want to do just rock that shit (hooray 230, by the by!! :D) and don’t worry 'bout the back squat. Of course it seems you’re doing that without my counsel already.
I’ll have to try those snatch grip deads one day. And the zerchers, and sumo DL, and…
zildjianman AHHHH!! Long time its been indeed. WORD :)!!
Thanks Mel!
Today was ok so far. Probably won’t go back for more…I might. Maybe. I’m not expecting much out of my back today.
Deads 185, 245, 275, 295, 315, 330
deads with chains 255x4, 265x4, 275x4, 290x2, 300
deficit deads with chains 245x4,265x4,275x3, 280x2
defcit deads no chain 275 x6
The chains themselves wt a total of 40# but I’m not sure what magic math equation would make the total bar wt be so I’ll keep listing them just what the bar is. I know it depends on the placement and crap or whatever. But I’m pretty jazzed I got that deficit 280 with chains. I’ll take it.
WOW, awesome job with the deadlifts there lady! Hey have you been using that belt you got a while back? I can’t remember if you said anything about it?
There is such a drift between the nation when it comes to candy corns. I absouletly love them. I also ate a shit load of them last week because I can’t help myself with them. I either don’t eat em at all or I go wild.
But I still LOVE THEM SO.
Hey Spock !!! Well the belt I always bring with me but I haven’t really used it a whole lot. And i’ve never used the belt i paid $70 for either :{ I just haven’t.
I have used the prong thrift store belt on days when I want to dead lift but am tired. It is great to use for the support and I don’t freak out I’m going to strain my back. So I mainly use it when I’m fatigued i guess :{
yeah …I haven’t given up on my “control” issues concerning belt usage. :{ To my detriment probably.
Yesterday was a high gravity day and my fs weight FAR to much.
tues- fronties 180, 200, 210, 225, 205x3, 210x2…felt heavy heavy heavy . 200x4. I gave up.
today wasn’t a real improvement. i didn’t feel like doing anything really so I kinda did a mish mash.
ohs 133x8
deads 205, 255, 300
five total chins
Then I had figured its a good day to do stuff I never do with low expectations. So I back squatted.
185, 225, 250, 260, 255 a few singles. 245 once I think.
Feels way bazaar but I just tried focusing on one improvement at a time. Today was elbows back.

HA! I am definitely stealing this lol.
Also, you’re doing very well with your back squat I think. I’m not even going to qualify that with a “for someone who never back squats” or anything; 255 for multiple singles is legit.
Hey Csulli Thanks Yeah there is no other explanation on days like that…no reason things should weigh so much :} Or feel so unusually heavy D:
Today was slightly better but still not A game. But not injured so word
fs 175, 195, 205, 220 x2 x 2 sets, 215x2 x 2 sets, 215 single
200x4, 200x3, 200x2…just dropped way to low too fast to get many reps. Long fight up. So I called it.
anderson zerchers 185,205x 5, 225x 5, 240x 5, 250 x2
regular sq 185x2, 205, 225, 245
increased rom gm’s barx8, 95x8 x 2 sets
situps with 45 plate x40
today deads
185, 245, 275, 295,305,315, 335
deads with chains 245x5, 265x4, 275x4, 290 BARELY, 245x5, 255x5,265x4,270x2 all sorts of wild
deficit deads 245,265,275x9–long set stopped a few times , 275x4
I feel like deficits are much easier for me then regular deads. I have no idea why. Maybe because I use more leg? And anything with chains just kills me. That breaking from the floor is a fight fight fight.
! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Thanks UP! ! ! ! ! ! !
That made my day
WORD the pull ups are almost…almost back to were I was before I had to stop a few months ago (dog attack and chomp on my bicep) SO I’m way stocked. This time if I may toot my own horn a bit they look much better :)! ! ! !
And thank you! I spoil myself and really heavily base my lifting choices…on what makes me happy and calms the demons for the day. I’m very fortunate I get some results sometimes!
Today was interesting but turned out ok. I bombed fs 'ing 225 each time I tried which makes me crazy with angst but the rest wasn’t so bad.
FRONTIES 175, 190, 205, 220, then the three fails at least of 225 >:(
200x4 x3 sets, 180x8, 180x6 x 2 sets, 190x4
anderson fs 135x10, 160x5
bulgarians with a bb 95x8/leg, 115x5/leg, 135x3/leg
turbo range of motion gm’s 95x8 x 3 sets
situps with a 45 plate x50
Unreal leg volume. Big congratulations on 10 sets of 7 pullups as well; that’s a pretty small club you’re in that can do pullups like that (and it’s 99% boys). Pretty soon you’ll be doing 10 sets of 10.
I’d love a vid of your pullups. I’m training these as well right now but am nowhere near your volume. Yet. I’m particularly interested in seeing your grip distance in relation to your shoulder width. I know. I’m way overanalytical.

You make pullups way too hard for me lol. I saw a vid somewhere you posted of your pullups, and you like pulled yourself all the way up to your waist practically and held yourself up there for like a full minute and then came all the way back down and did more of them!
Today I just did whatever. Misc gym guy had to point out to me he never sees me doing upper body. No duh :{ No excuse but…no…:{
deads 155, 245, 265, 295 x4, 300x2, 310, 245x9, 255x8, 265x5, 275x5
reverse alt lunges w/ a bb 95x8/leg, 115x8/leg, 130x7/leg, 140x5/leg
plain ol lunges 95x8/leg x 2 sets
situps with a 45 x 30
it. I know. I know. My arms are so neglected. It a periodical topic in my training of doing a few upper body things then not ever again. Mm.

That, kind sir, would be a kip. I’m cheating at the top . . . resting. I see that stall at the top as a cheat.
Thanks for the vid, Brutus. I believe I need to work on widening my grip. So difficult.
