i mean, that’s what coaches are for, right? and i think a lot of us lifters are weirdoes like that so they’re probably accustomed to it.
Today I started the Coan DL program --fully influenced by O and her incredible strength. I will still do sheiko for front squats and for …benching. I’ll type it all executive like too so you can see the organization.
Today!
Deads 265x2
speed deads 210 x 8x 3 sets
circuit: sldl 225 which I think I don’t even know how to do. did conventional. might have to mess with that
bent over rows 95
gm’s 135
underhand grip pull downs --no idea what 6 means on one of the machines at rmlc–not real heavy
3 sets of 8 reps each. I did the circuit in ten minutes i know only because I had no watch and vid’ed it instead. You’re supposed to do it with rest periods but I’m pretty bad at realizing the concept of time so I just tried to go spiffy.
I’m excited about this… because you get to plug in a desired max. And I WANT my desired max so spread sheet better live up to its side of the deal.
after was 15 mins stepmill
tonight I did my pull up assignment too EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
3 x6, 7 sets of 5. 6 is a PR!!!
nah i’m not on facebook. i got into stupid little games and had to ban myself… and all my different accounts that were rigged up so i could send myself stuff…
do you have a blood pressure cuff? can you get your hands on something like that as a vet tec?
we did this cool thing in class today (core):
you lie on your back and put the cuff behind your lumbar spine. relax your back so you got normal lumbar curve (it will come away from the floor a bit - but not too much or you got anterior pelvic tilt). then you pump it up to about 40. then you activate your abs… to push it to 60. or whatever really. you basically activate your TVA and can change the pressure at will. i found it was GREAT for core activation… i want one!!
OH NO it’ll be done at work. We do lots of movements are my job most co-workers of other professions do not witness of each other. Lots of butt crack, strange positions, wide kinda spread legged stretching to restrain the beasts. I split my pants last saturday. There’s always extra scrubs for us to use.
Today I went to my turbo gym to front squat. I forgot my sheiko recipe thing and went on my own. Also my mp3 died after just doing fronties so I called it a day. I did have a PR. Or a previous PR that I haven’t had in a bit,I don’t remember.
fronties 135x5,165x5,190x4, 200x3 x 4 sets, 205x2, 210, 215–PR maybe
Oh Lula–I DO need to do the wild push up smackdown. I managed 3 sets of 11 …but lost my attention span a few days ago. I’m working up to a set of 20.
Thanks 2b! Been a while since I full force socked it
Hey pixie! Yep! I thing just thinging about my elbows will help alot.
I haven’t worked on back squats at all the past week–no reason, just ahven’t
Actually there is a reason. A very antisocial, vampire one. I hate the sun. And the time I go to the gym before work its HIGH NOON. I hate driving in the sun! So the closest gym is a 24 fitness a mile or so away which is pretty packed most of the time, and then the 15min drive to RMLC, which I’d have all to myself. I try and avoid driving in Aurora ( city rmlc is at) as much as possible since the drivers tend to drive like they are in Tijuana.
So yeah. I’m an asshole who can’t take that amount of frustration along with the sun before work.
I type like this because I just came home from driving in Aurora still annoyed and irritated.
today
fronties 140x5, 170x4, 190x4 x 2 sets, 200x2 x 2 sets, x1
135x5, 155x5, 185x3 x 2 sets.
that’s it…I left for another antisocial issue. Some dude and his two girl friends were stalking me on the rack. Walked up to me after I started to ask how many sets I had left which I told him a while.
Fair enough. But he just annoyed me. Then made a big show of deadlifting his 315 or whatever he did. I just get so douched out by guys who do the gym show at the gym.
I will be even more in love with you if you front squat 225.
Never mind thinking about pushing your elbows when you’re coming out of the hole, I think about trying not to fart. Front squats make me fart… more than any other lift. Just something to focus on next time you’re front squatting. That should keep the guys away from the rack.
