I wish I’d had you in the gym the other day when this douchenozzle pulled 315 once and then dropped it from standing. I really wanted to go over and pick it up and set it down like, ‘this is how you do it douchbag’.

–i know everyone hates my gloves :{ But i promise you i can do it with the just the chalk and no gloves.–>but i like my gloves! only when i have to will i deglove.

I live in Denver where its so dry all year round my hands are too precious–as in they already are lobster red normally-- cracked, bleeding and split apart! even with over hydration of fluids and lotion!

I also am in the vet field which calls for multiple sets of awful powdered gloves which dry the crap out of your skin, a job that requires wasting you hands many times an hour. and they just get painfully raw. The gloves are for that…i like to be able to zip up my zippers with out seething in pain! sorry…i get worked up because i’m staring at them now…eeww… :{

OH MY GOD! i even never thought of leaving the bad no no stuff in public! i should do that next time :slight_smile:

i feel too wasteful tossing them down the trash shoot…but someone might wanna cookie in the bathroom…you never know…

My husband has bad eczema, especially in winter. Sometimes he puts a tone of cream (non-scented) curel and goes to bed with cotton gloves over them to allow the moisture to seep in through the night.

i tinkered at RMLC today. Had nothing else really to do and some energy to burn before it “snows”.
I still am not sure i’m doing the ghr’s right.

After watching a few videos from elitefts.com, i tried again now it feels quite a bit easier then how i was attempting yesterday. I dunno.I tried filming it to see and compare to the vids online but the angle is WAY close and weird do to the placement of the machine in the gym :{ bahh! whatever, maybe i’ll feel it tommorw instead.

squats were a disappointment. The lack of mirror makes it difficult for me, so i’ll just have to do them only there and no place else. get used to it being gone. I had some depth issues from the start! so i redid every one until i got the depth right.

bar, 135, 225, 245,265–re-do about 3 times, 280- re-do 3 times, re-do twice, 285 – i actually got it the first time.hmmppht.

so some ghr’s some misc one legged/pistol squats,messed with the big stones, body wt rows…whateve.

incline bench 85x5x 3 sets, 95x3x2 sets
decline bench 95x8,105x8, 115x6x4 sets, 125x4

It’s funny how a change like no mirror can mess with you. I think it’s because you lose the visual cues you were used to. You will adjust quickly and be surprised at how much better it can feel.

yeah, O, i think i just need some practice with the wall instead of a mirror and it should be ok.if not,then i’l just work some more on it:)

I over did it on my back the last day or so, so fatigue and a little soreness is going on. no wt’s.

elliptical 30 mins, 11sets of HIIT one min on, 30 seconds lower pace.

Ill take your disappointing squats any day!!!

hey MiM! yes! the turbo gym-Rocky Mtn Lifting Club has stones. but i don’t know how much they weight :frowning: i can get the littlest one but the other ones i was not having success with :}

Those deads were ridic. And I’m happy to hear your lifting at the new gym. You can only get better in that environment.

What i don’t get is how you get your arms back and keep your back straight when you overhead squat. I need to figure that out…

why thank you Mashy :)!! for the overhead squats, i start with a push press to get it over my head, then just squat.
