yeah…so i am quite annoyed.
I have no clue whether i am going to the next meet in a week and a half. my supervisor “isn’t sure” if i can take the friday night before it off.
OH how i love that freaking supervisor. the same supervisor who took four days off last week without any notice except a text message to me “things are strange, i can’t explain now but i can’t come in tonight”. oh–and she’s salary paid. i’ve asked for a total of 3 days off in 18months–but at least i ahve a job so word. ![]()

I do have alot to be thankful and i need to remind myself of that. lots of coolio stuff:)
still have no answer for the meet. but a few of my sisters and their kiddos are coming to town so that’s pretty awesome! i can really use a good visit with them, so either way its going to be a fairly cool time in a week or so.
One thing gets traded for another. I tried to dead lift yesterday and was rudely awakened to just how much work i’m going to need to get back to my former abilities.
On the one hand i am sad as i have trouble getting 225 for more then a few reps, but then again I feel good about having some of the extra fluff off my body–i had been meaning/attempting/trying to to that and failed for about a year or so, sucky that i lost strength --severely-- over it though.
oh well. going to try some more today in a more serious manner. i’ll have plenty of time to get back to speed…and i have a long way to go. —

deadlifts 225x8x2sets,:),225x7x2sets,245,245x2, 265,289,fail at 395.but a good thing! i feel better about em sorta. a long ways off from former stuff but its ok for now :)!

You’re so deceiving… you’re a small thing but your squats and DLs are mindblowing. I don’t know your bench #s but it’s you so I know they’re awesome too.
All in all, I don’t think that you have a long way to go. My grandfather hasn’t done chin-ups/pull-ups in years so when we first worked out, he was only able to do 1. About 1-2 sessions later, he did 7 in a row. Your body will remember it’s strength, I have no doubt.
