I’m with Jim, ws4sb is a solid program.
Yeah girl, you are hella strong! Great numbers on the front squat push press - I always had trouble with this one, can’t keep my elbows up. Nice stuff.
Don’t be afraid to mix and match some of my friends will do 5 3 1 then add a athletic day or bar complexes or something like that. Too many people become slave to a program don’t be afraid to think outside the box according to what your needs and goals are.
thanks Masherano!
word, i think i’ll try some of the west side stuff next then. never done any of there stuff before. thanks for the info!
lemme see if this flys ok

Dang, Sindie.
That’s all.
EDIT: Ok, you beat me by 2 reps. I don’t feel so bad.
nice job.
are you wearing a belt ?
make sure you mix up bouncing off floor and reseting.
if you notice when you are getting tired you start to snap your arms instead of keeping them tight. Over time you will tear something . get the slack out of you arms flex your belly and focus on pulling your feet through the floor.
when you are getting tired you also go on your toes focus on pulling heels into ground.
i am VERY impressed with some small changes you could pull some really big numbers. ![]()

Thanks, Jim. Those deadlift tips on the videos were really helpful. I tried to incorporate some of those suggestions in my last training.
Sindie, I hope your pup is OK. I’m on the way to the vet with my kitty today, so I know what its like.
Your welcome
I willsay a prayer for your cat …
I have four dogs
Awhile back my girlfriend (at the time) and I spent a very long night in the ER with one of them. sick animals are no fun especally when the vet can’t give you any answeres.
Jim
oh my god…thank you for the thoughts for my dog…they must have done some good, because turns out he sure needed them.
SO a normal neuter/pexy turned into a complete disaster. After his surgery, while he was recovering, they noticed him becoming really pale, and lethargic with a heart rate of 180–on a Newfoundland who’s still groggy form anesthesia. They ultrasounded his belly and turns out he’s bleeding out internally from some slipped ligature on his right testicular artery.
!!! OHHHH MY GOSH!!!

And it had to happened to my dog, at the clinic I work at! with a surgeon who’s never had this happen ever before…a long story and two blood transfusions later, he’s finally ok now. Thank god…
Friday night was spent in between sobbing and waiting for news. I was scheduled to work my normal 11pm -7am shift, so i could be with him after his surgery, but i ended up having to call in sick because although i was at work with him in ICU , i was useless and so worried about him all night and just there to be by his cage. But thank god, thank GOD he’s ok now. Such a nightmare.
I can’t imagine having a child, this dog!!! anyways, he’s ok now,but my poor baby! two transfusions!
oh no! Kimba! what’s wrong with your kitty?? I hope he’s getting some help ![]()
Wow … That sucks my dog Patton had a huge growth on the side of his face. It was massive it turned out to be a bacterial infection later lanced and drained. They had no idea what was going on at er … I though he was going to die. They tried to talk us into all sorts of crazy tests scans ect. Cbear was with me at the time (she is super smart when it coming to stuff like that plus she questions everything). Between the two of us we told them to take a culture of the mass. That is how we figured out it was an infection and that $1400 dollars in tests where not needed …
Took him to a different vet got it lanced and drained :). It’s been good ever since
scary stuff at the time
Jim
that sounds about right! Vets are expensive business! Its always good to question stuff, or at least make them explain it to you. My clinic is a teaching hospital, so we get some pretty cool cases…and sad ones too…
what’s the worst is when someone really can’t afford treatment…its always an issue, and its always when no one is expecting it financially that some horrible crap happens to their lil babies. There’s no way i could afford a dog if i didn’t get a 75% discount vet bills!
