…oooohhh…now i wanna try that russian thing! THANKS!
I tried em…not bad!
do you switch hands at all? can you hold the weight with both hands??
oh hi Brute! How have you been? ![]()
HI BRUTE!
I have had the best success holding a dumbbell with two hands. But my goal is to do the one-handed thing. But its very hard.
It almost makes me feel like I’m doing it wrong since I didn’t find it that hard…shrugs video or didn’t happen, right? ![]()
Hi MIM HI KIMBA :)!!
I didn’t try the turkish getups today…but i did have a ninja “mind F*in” with him self and pumpin up while i was captive audience doing cardio.
This dude --although i admit pretty hot–first brought from his bag of tricks a hammer which he proceeded to hit his forearms and the front of his shins. A total regular hammer tool thing. Then he turns it to the claw side and hits the inside of his foreams and his calves. Not like slow and gentle either, rather fast and rabbity.
THEN he breaks out his cement brick and starts hitting his fists with it. Did i mention this was at 24 hour fitness? and all though his lace less shoes keep flippin of his feet.
following this display was a few high kicks, so swats at the air, the whole dancing fight step thing. Then the side splits. Pushups and some lunges. After this warm up some salesman looking dude in street clothes comne
to talk to him for about 30 mins. the guy leaves and he does some more. OH and he dropped his brick once too, threw his arms up and jumped away .
Oh–so after the routine, he goes on some tricep machine thingie. ! But he was hot so…can’t complain to much. had the whole bigger upper body with a lil cute man ab belly thing. I better be careful cuz i tend to like em crazy!

I’d forgotten about turkish get ups. I’m going to have to try them again. I get bored of abs. What are russian sit ups?[/quote]
This, except I can barely manage to do them without a weight. With a weight, my legs come up off the floor:
Thanks. I’m going to try them. I even have my own kettlebell in case I want to get stapled to the floor.
funny story, Brute…none of it made sense, which makes it even more funny! ![]()

Haha that guys sounds REALLY crazy, so you better be VERY careful or you might EXTRA like him.
wish I could see a video of it. That sounds like crazy with da extra special crazy sauce on top. But if he was cute…
I did the Russian situps today - not bad!
HAH! That guy does sound a bit nutty. You know what they say, crazy is as crazy does. ← actually I don’t know if anyone says that, but it sounds good to me.
Well, I had a bit of a pep talk yesterday and it helped a bit.
RMLC agreed to hold my check and application until I was sure i was ready to do the RAW nationals on the 17th of July.
I whined about not being ready etc etc, and after speaking with them i realized i realllllllly want to try. I think I was a bit too cocky and that screwed me before i got sick
but now i’m really discouraged and well, I still really want to do it! Who cares if i don’t do all bad ass? I still want to try and sport the camel toe singlet
If i’m going to be into this sport, i have to know all meets are not going to be spectacular.
Cautious and scared I started the weights in a really mellow way for the first time in a good three plus weeks and it was humbling–but OK. Also found out anyone can go to the state games, which is at RMLC two weeks after the raw nationals. SO word, I’m going to see how it goes.
the news is i barely have a 260 squat …and barely a 270 dead lift --eekkk. And no clue about the bench. but who cares? so whatever. its going to be cool ![]()

Might as well just off yourself now. You obviously have nothing to live for.
Seriously, I’m excited that you’re doing the meet because I’ll be in the audience CHEERING!
yeah! liftinf for the fun of it is a great option. I’ll cheer you on from here.

Snapper, you just made me laugh out loud. Snort, actually.
aw man! snapper :D! i didn’t mean to sound ungrateful that i can even do anything!! But, i guess it come across that way-- ha
erase erase!! Bad Brute…
just kinda–well i’m sure you understand the whole mojo
but i should quit whining–and i shall… if you are going to be there i better be on my best behavior
and in my new green shoes.
OH–and i should say also i had a new adventure for me-- upper body work
…i used these wierd things called “dumbells”…it was scary. “flyes” “lateral rasies” “dumbell benching” --these foreign exotic exercises I’ve only read about :} I dunno how i feel besides a bit lost, confused, and uncoordinated. :{
maybe if i’m not to traumatized i’ll try “rows”…i dunno…
I bet you’d like the krock rows since you love the heavy stuff Brute. Grab a nice big dumbell and crank em out.
New green shoes? Chucks?
Oh, I do get it, Brute. Like I’ve said many times, it’s a personal quest. But a raw 260 squat and 270 DL are just inconceivable for some of us.
