*BRUTAL SIMPLICITY*

Sorry guys… just a little stressed right now, still no excuse for being an a-hole.

Appreciate the support, and thank you for the prayers.

Readers digest… gall bladder problem(s) that led to kidney and liver problems and a host of other crap because of the incompetence of some medical practitioners up here.

She had surgery… removed a bunch of stuff/ growths (being tested for the big “C”), including the gall baldder. She looks much better, jaundice starting to subside.

Know what she asked me when she came out of surgery? “Aren’t you going to the gym?” I nearly choked…

Will keep you up to date.

Right now… beat, going to bed. Hospitals suck the life outta me.

Hey guy listen to your wife. Go to the gym! You still need to take time (even just a little time) for yourself now and then. My thoughts will remain with you and your wife…

Bun, Get some rest, stay with the wife, go work off some stress.

Had the same thing happen to me. Gall stone blocked the bile duct. All that bile backed up damn near shut down my pancreous. I was yellow as a caution light. Felt like crap for 8 months prior to diagnosis.

Hpefully all will be well. She will need to watch her diet in the future. I played hell finding the right place in mine for about 3 years.

I’m sure praying for the both of y’all.

Bunny, your wife, and family are in all our thoughts and prayers.

You will know when it is time to get back to your normal schedule. Make sure to get as much rest as possible. The weights will be there for you when things calm down.

“Aren’t you going to the gym?”

Can I marry her?

Your wife must be quite a person. Coming out of surgery and first thing she’s worried about is you.

A good wife is better than anything else.

Wish you well, wish you well.

The best to you and your family.

Copy that, Bunny.

Bunny, miss the Canadian input around here.

Hope all is okay at home Bunny. If you haven’t time to respond, I hope you have time to read.

Hoping for a quick recovery for your wife.

same here

Well, I am back. It has been a while, but things seem to have calmed down around here.

My wife is doing alot better, had a couple of surgeries and medical concerns, but she is a tough lady and seems to have come through everything ok, still a few bumps to overcome yet, but we will get through it.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who wished us well and prayed for us, it meant a lot to me/ us to know that you had our back and were in your thoughts.

I have actually started back to the gym over the last 2 weeks… man, I am some sore… but I also have a definitive goal in mind.

August 6 2009 is the “World Police/ Fire Games” being held in Burnaby British Columbia. One of the events is the “Push Pull” (deadlift/ bench press). I am going to train for, and compete in this event.

The weight categories (pertaining to me) are under 242.5 pounds, under 275 pounds and over 275 pounds… in the over 40 (Masters) category.

I am currently at around 255 pounds, so I can go either way… I am thinking of shooting for the under 242 weight class. This competition is “raw”… no suits, straps or wraps of any kind, but belts are allowed.

Ideally, I would like to find another competition some time around May… just to get my feet wet seeing as I have never done this before.

I am going to continue with the Upper/ Lower/ Assistance days routine that Skid suggested to me a while back, it seemed to be working for me.

Once again, thanks to all of you… and I look forward to catching up with your progress(es) and your valued opinions/ input into all issues faced by us on a daily basis.

Bunny

That’s great news Bunny! So glad to hear everything will be fine. Welcome back Buddy.

glad to hear that the wife is doing better
