Great pressing, Bunny. Are you going to be using the wrist wraps for benching, too?

Great work, and thanks for posting the videos, Bunny. You and Eco are showing the way.
No probs Geech… I still feel like I am fumbling around in the dark though, so new to this… and so many different training ways/ philosophies.
I know that I am getting stronger… I just hope I am doing things correctly. My bench is pissing me off though.

I wouldn’t worry too much about doing things correctly. A bad program worked consistently and hard is worth far more than an excellent program half-ass attempted. You’ve definitely have the work ethic.
You’ve got the best of both: a good program worked hard.
I’ve been of the opinion that you’re doing too much work per session, BUT I’m starting to think that , due to your hockey practice, you have the conditioning to support that amount of volume for the time being. When the weights get heavier you’ll want to look at reducing volume in one area or the other.
You’ve got a badass combination super strength and great conditioning and I’m looking forward to seeing some HYOOJ numbers from you in the big 3 very soon. Your progress is nothing short of amazing to me, particularly since you’re in weight loss mode!

Ummm… I thinks so, probably not for all the sets, just for the heavy ones I guess. I don’t know, what is the norm? Are you supposed to wear them all the time? I certainly don’t want to become dependant on them.

Thanks… I am always at a loss on “assistance day”… I want to hit everything to support the lifts, and end up doing too much volume. I am starting to feel it on my “Upper Day- Bench” which is always 48 hours after assistance day. I gotta find a common balance…

Don’t know, Bunny. But I suspect you are right about using them judiciously.
Felt good today, really concentrated on form- paused and speed off the chest for each rep.
Really like the new wrist wraps too.
I am going to try alternating the rep scheme of each of the movements from week to week… ie- week 1- 5 reps/ week 2- 3 reps/ week 3- 1 reps on each of the movements so that I am not doing heavy singles/ doubles every week for all the movements.
I use wrist wraps only on my heavy sets of bench and sometimes not at all. Depends upon if I remember to put them on. I used to use elbow sleeves but they seemed to make my elbows feel worse. The same with knee sleeves.

Hmmm… interesting. I guess I will have to try them out and see for myself. I like the wrist wraps thus far, the elbow sleeves, jury is still out on them… the knee wraps have yet to try.
Took yesterday off, friends and family stuff… kids headin’ back to college etc., lotsa food and drink, nice day over all.
Startin’ midnights tonight for the next 7 days… yay… not. Try and get a session in today, see how motovated I am, or if my gym is even open. May have to do it at work.
