Man you guys are missing out on not using Listerine pre workout. It kicks ass. Aggression is through the roof, everything moves, and you are generally ready for war. No no I don’t rinse my mouth with it. It merely makes the suspension in diesel fuel go down easier. It is only the first part of the symphony.

Yeah boys thanks for the suggestions, I’ll probably just toy around with a little cardio, and then budget my money and eat a bit cleaner seeing where this takes me.

It all depends on how your body functions bro. I can stay pretty tight when I bulk as long as I get my cardio in but fat gain is inevitable with my makeup. Or you can be like Gerdy that can eat pretty much anything and the fucker will have abs while doing it. Throw in the cardio and clean up even the dirtiest of dirty. Example: If you are hitting up Mickey D’s get 4 of those grilled chicken snack wraps without the sauce and only eat 2 of them entirely and the rest just eat the chicken. 68g of pretty clean protein IMO. Where there’s a will there’s a way.

In light of the progress photos, I thought maybe some progress vids wouldn’t be a bad idea. I thought of this when going through my youtube account and seeing how much stronger I’ve gotten in the past year and a half. March of 2008 I had 265x5 and July of 09 I had 335x3. So in 16 months, 1 1/3 years, I increased my bench 70 pounds for reps even though it’s two less reps than before and my max is about 90 pounds more since that time frame as well.

Anyways:

315x4 05/09/2009

335x3 07/14/2009

cybex machine lateral raise
125x20 PR…five pounds more

55sx10 PR…two reps more

pin wheel curls
50sx20 PR…5 pounds more for each arm

Today’s workout:

Circuit, front squats, bent over rows, RDLs (all at 135 lbs), push presses (at 95 lbs). 4 rounds, 12 reps on each exercise on all 4 rounds.

DB bench:
75x10
85x6
95x6

And that was it, since I’m runnin another fucking PFT tommorow. Just wanted to get the heart rate up and do a bit of chest. Planning on legs tomorrow depending on how they’re feeling after the running portion…

Finally stalled on my dead lift, got greedy and went from 385 to 405. Gonna switch back to some higher reps on the deads, 6-8 instead of 3-5.

LMAO! @ the constant use of mouth wash. Another GB classic I guess. What is the dosage on those JB? 200 or better I hope. I have to make mine and I can only get them up to 300mg per cap.

3rd day of DC but I’m still changing my exercise selection around so I’d say I haven’t properly started it yet.

Workout was good, but damn! My DB bench is complete shit. Still worse than my shoulder press was not to long ago. Oh well, I guess it’s just a matter of sticking with it and progressing.

The rep ranges were so different then what I usually worked with, so it took me about two cycles through to figure out what weights I needed on some exercises.

GB, 200 mg a piece, so 2-3 of those or 2 and Rockstar Blue and Im usually set.

Incline: 380 x1+2

Nothing special for tri’s, great DC calves session though. I love that burn. Fellas if you struggle with calves and aren’t doing them DC style, get with the fucking program :slight_smile:
