Dre, coming from a salesman, yeah that would annoy me (even though I’m not quite 20). If I’m joking around with another guy, and it’s clear we’re both just messing around (even if we don’t really know each other), I wouldn’t care.
I think it just comes down to tact. Don’t be a disrespectful idiot. That’s ghey. Like Bug.
Today’s Legs:
Back Squats:
125x5
175x4
225x3
285x2
315x1
340x9/6/5
Front Squats:
245x5
Leg Curls:
105x8/7
Leg Extensions:
170x15/12
Good workout, added 5 lbs and a rep to that first set of squats which had me particularly happy. If the next few sessions go similarly I’m gonna have to retest my 1RM on squats soon.
Yeah its my progress over 19months. That pic is actually a bit old now tbh. May update it soon!
this was my condition before my little “cut”
This will be my 2nd stint of using a bbing style split routine - the 1st time only lasted about 12 weeks. previously ive used full bodys and upper/lower workouts. I spent a good portion of the last 6 months concentrating on olympic lifts.
this also seems an appropriate time to add i seem to have slight doms already, approx 4 hours after the w/o
Today’s arms. Had a midterm today and my workout partner bailed on me cuz he’s a bitch.

Notes: I was tired and the atmosphere was terrible at the gym, all tiny skinny fat people. My iPod died after the DB curls so it sucked. I’m exhausted. I haven’t gotten a good nights sleep in like 2 weeks.
Keep on truckin bros
Josh can we make you a shirt saying “GAY BOI”. Get it? Haha…
Also, question to those of you that would know… I’m looking into getting wrist, elbow, and knee wraps/sleeves/whatever you call them… where is a good place to look for those? I’m not looking to spend a FUCKLOAD of money but I want something quality.
I feel like I’m starting to get up to poundages on different lifts where protecting my joints might be a good idea.
H4M, i suggest getting a decent pair of straps, the just plain cloth ones will cut the shit out of your wrists now that youre using respectable weight.
I actually had somebody ask me if I had attempted to cut my wrists a few days after a particularly heavy back day.
Jared that was the cue for you to give me a link. Lol.
It’s just that having never used straps once in my life, I don’t know what to look for (like, for example, the fact that apparently cloth ones can cut your wrists…I’d never heard of that before).

Ya guys I really apologize for everyting.
I’m out of the gym until monday (I swear to Ahhhnold if I’m still hurt be then…), and if my shoulder is up for both bench and being flexible to squat, I’ll be starting Sheiko 29 with 275 bench, 345 squat, 415 DL.
Anyone have any tricks for shoulder flexibility? I’m double dosing flame-out and stretching out the pecs and rolling on a field hockey ball, anything else I could be doing?

Shoulder dislocations worked wonders for my shoulder issues.
Mike have you tried Dante’s shoulder exercise? The one where you use a broomstick or a towel and do 50 repetitions? I don’t want to attempt to explain how its done, search for it over on IntenseMuscle.com if you don’t know about it.

Those are called shoulder dislocations. Must I do everything around here.

Thanks! It went up pretty easy, but when I locked it out it felt like my entire body was going to explode… Just not used to that kind of weight yet. I think it pulled something in my shoulder, too.
But once I’m accustomed to the weight, I may just have to go for 700+ in a few months. I’ll definitely have to film that.
