Brotherhood of Iron 2.0

Cam, stay away from my nipples, or I will never buy you beer again.

owned.

As I recall, you and Quinn waited half an hour and were never even served at the bar, although it was a kind gesture, you have yet to actually buy me anything.

My neighbors do want some tequila though.

I guess your nipples are safe…for now.

You gotta start yelling at the idiot who curl between the two squat racks by the mirror too, that shit is annoying.

Workin’ on that beard haha.

“…hey dude, someone’s gotta be Leonidas while Nate’s gone.”

I’d do it, but sadly no facial hair allowed in the restaurant business. Except a stupid mustache…but who wants that?

I need to get a cooler job so I can have a beard.

I love how every one of Bug’s pictures is 50% creepier due to the crucifix in the background.

Congrats on showing the beard some love, I trimmed mine down to a healthy stubble this morning.

Cam, I definitely had a beer in hand when we left that bar, I did not get to finish it because we went and saw your “friends” across the street.

I don’t grow facial hair for shit other than around my mouth, fucking wish I did so I could grow a beard just to look crazy. lol

You had one, but not me. And the whole time you were bitching about your lonely budweiser and missing your turn to sing.

It was fun taking up almost the whole Penn Station with you and Quinn though <3

Why wasn’t that an option on the career survey I took in high school? Damn it!

Does lifting cast iron sprockets in my field yesterday qualify me for the ‘brotherhood of iron’?

Hamstrings,lower back, calves

4 cycles - 225 lbs
1a)Snatch grip Dead lift - 6 reps
1b)Regular Dead lift - 6 reps
1c)Sumo Dead lift- 6 reps

I thought there was a legit chance i was going to die during the 4th cycle.

  1. Glute Ham raises - 25 total reps

  2. Hammerstrength Hamstring curl-
    4 x 9-12 @ 2 plates ( I suck )

4.Seated straight leg calf raise
4 x 20 @ 300 lbs

Comments: If you think 225 feels light in the dead lift, well, thats because it does.

72 reps late, if feels significantly heavier.

Actually layed down after that 4th cycle, right next to the squat rack.

The 1 mile walk home after the workout was kind of a fog, but eventually i got back the apartment, I guess.

Josh, i know what ya mean about that HS shoulder press, it just doesnt feel like you’re in a position where you can exert much force.

At least thats how it feels for me, it just seems like im stronger then the amount of weigh it lets me use.

Yeah but I mostly just wish it was more of a vertical press…I really want the HS Shoulder Press where you sit leaning back a bit and press the handles pretty much like as if it were a behind the neck shoulder press. If you watched the bodybuilding.com shoulder training vid with Phil Heath you would know what machine I’m referring to.

Actually here is a picture of the one I’d like to use…

Josh, thats the one we have at our gym. I really, really like it. Does the one you have force you to set a little more upright, but press a little more in front of you?

Thanks. I’ve been trying to figure it out. The wheels are definitely over 250lbs, because I’ve tried to weigh them. Not much, though. I pulled from just below the knee with a 35lbs crappy York bar (didn’t want to scratch up one of our sweet bars from the gym) and it felt like a 550lbs rack pull. I’ve pulled 560 from that height out of a rack, and this one felt pretty close to ‘absolute max.’

Not the ‘I don’t think I can do any more’ max you see at Big Fitness, but the ‘don’t-remember-anything-afterward, bloodshot eyes, can’t-hear-while-I’m-doing-it, is-this-acid-reflux-or-a-heart-attack’ max. It’s hard to see, but the craptastic bar bent a bit while it was going up, so that didn’t help get it off the ground either. I’m guessing 550, but minimum 535.

Yes, exactly! Its called the hammer strength iso front military press or something like that.
