I thought that bathing suite area was for me? You got 8 by the way. I thought you had more in you too.

Deadlift

315x5
335x5
355x7

Kroc Rows
100x20 both sides, went stricter then I normally am on these, but I still wouldn’t call them strict.

Lat pulldowns
145x8
160x8
175x8
190x11

45 hyperextension
25x15

notes: cool workout. I felt possessed by the devil on my last set of deadlifts, I maybe could have gotten to 9, so I think I judge it well on 1-2 reps before failure.

Some hotties in the cardio room too, not surprisingly JB didn’t want to join me for some. He had to run home to his dildos or something he said.

The video on Bugs wall is possibly worthy of oscar performance.

Pretraining meal was 3 double stacks turned into 2 triple stacks and I threw a set of buns. Gotta watch my carbs ya know.
After cam’s finaly set of Dead Lifts, and im not sure if he is even aware of this he said.

“Im sorry man, but the Wendy’s is coming back up, Im sorry”

He apologized twice in advance for something that never actually happened, but I think he was convinced it was a very real possibility.

Ran today…went pretty well. Going for 20 chinups tomorrow, we’ll see how that goes…

Back when I lifted…that makes me sad. I miss getting stronger :frowning:

Started fasted morning cardio today… Oh my god how boring, but it feels good when you’re done. I’ll keep doing it for a few weeks and see if I like the results (more appetite, less fat… hopefully). If I like what I observe, I’ll keep doing it.

It definitely gives me a bigger appetite…when I initially started running, I just ate to satisfy hunger, and dropped 15 or so lbs. Now, I actually have to go hungry times, because just eating to satisfy hunger has me gaining a couple lbs back, which I can’t be doing now…

Leg session last night. Nothing special, I’m weak.

I love breakfast. 5 whole eggs, two brats and hot sauce.

1005 Calories
79g fat
2g carbs
60g protein

So, what’s the typical breakfast for you bastages?

JB - Thanks, this kid can’t get here fast enough, cripes. Especially for my wife. haha

C_C - I agree, it’s about time to post some training sessions or pics. Don’t be a pussy.

i drink a ON Pro Complex Gainer shake with some milk. ~700 cals buncha carbs buncha protein, i cant even drink this thing right now.

so im trying out a layout CC provided for me, well not sure if it went 100% to his suggestions but anyway

Chest,Bis,Tris

H.S. Bench
3 plates x7
2 1/4th x7 (drop set)-2 plates x2

Inc DB Bench 75x11

Pinwheel Curls 60’s x7 or 8, didnt keep count

Bent Over Tricep Exts
204(whole stack) x9

Tricep Pressdowns
156x10

Lying Curls 84x8

my arms had a good pump going but my chest didnt so i wanted to get a pump before i left

Decline BB 135x17

Any chance that your pressing form/setup isn’t really all that ideal? (if you can’t get a pump from pressing?). You could just throw the pec-deck in after your two presses for some pumping. And make sure you really have your sternum as high as you can, delts back blabla the whole deal on all chest exercises (even the pec deck).

And am I seeing a lack of pressing in that tri routine, someone is being a nancy here (c’mon guys, let’s all get on live’s nerves so that he stops being a nancy with his triceps) ;D

dude you can say anything you want but fact is when i first started doing the tricep exts that i do i got stretch marks like a week later. ive never gotten stretch marks before that.

i also weighed myself in at 205 even today, i also took a shit and pissed like 3 times before so i know its lean gains…and im exaclty as lean as i was before - if not leaner.

Why not cut the pushdowns out and do CGP’s and Extensions?

Nancy.

closegrips dont do much for me. i used to do reverse grips on the smith but i stalled out and my lift numbers actually went down. i could try it out again i suppose.

You guys should see the video stuntman Mike(cam) posted on Bug’s Facebook.

Its gayer then a Unicorn butt raping a rainbow.

I just came up with that btw.

So, how about I actually post a workout now that I have a working computer.

531’ed with Cam today, did the dead lift workout. He’s strong, like Ox.

Dead lift - (turns out ive got F’ed up form)
255x5
275x5
300x8 (cam, did i get 8 or 7? I was too busy trying not to vomit so i didnt write it down)

Strict DB rows (been a while for these)

100 lbs x 10/10
100 lbs x 15/15

Lat Pulldown -
130 x 8
160 x 8
175 x 8
190 x 11

Never did these until my last two back workouts, just hated them when i started lifting and never really went back to them, maybe it was because as a former chunker I just loved the fact that I could actually do pullups, but anyway these are giving me a wicked awesome pump.

Hyperextension -
1x15 @ 25 lbs.

Comments: Might through in some lat pullovers next week, but at this point I was completely fried, I had just finished my shift before this workout, and all i had had to eat all day was a Jar, yes, a Jar of low carb peanut butter.

I know meal prep is important, and I had my alarm set for 6 so i could cook a few meals before my 8:00 shift, but thanks to Tylenol PM I slept right through the alarm and all the way to 8:20.

Bug, your decline bench is just silly, I havent benched heavy in a while so Im pretty excited to see what I can get with this program, I hit 315 last spring while only benching 1-2 times a month so Im coming for your ass…not the same way Cam is though.

XB, how goes the weight gain ? Where you sitting at right now ?

CC, when are we finally gonna get you to post a workout ? Come on, for inspirations sake.
You mean like:

What passed for training today:

-Trying out the lat-pulldown machine at this shiny new fitness-club.
The stack holds about 100 lbs. Gym owner gave me a rather interesting look when I tried to attach several 44lb plates, so I figured I’d leave that be.
The plates are coated in some very soft material.

-No Pull-Up bar available, so don’t even ask.

-I managed to do a warm-up set for Kroc Rows with a 100 lb DB (biggest they’ve got). Wondered if I should just go on and get 300 reps or not, but I decided that I might lose muscle due to the amount of calories that would burn.

-I tried to gather enough plates for floor pulls (with one of their funny super-thin bars… Don’t know what I was thinking as those probably break in two if you put more than 60 lb on each side) but the owner gave me yet another warning look and I decided to just go home and do some Kroc Rows with my adjustable DB.

Couldn’t use that costum handle in the gym because their plates are not made for olympic bars and DB’s but for those extra-thin bars and no, I wasn’t in the mood to drive back home and bring my, oh, 6000 10lb olympic plates with me to the “gym”. They probably wouldn’t have let me in with that stuff in tow anyway.

My wrist-straps were beginning to feel neglected.
Made up for that by doing Kroc’s at home, supporting hand on a sturdy table (with several 44 lb plates on it so it wouldn’t fall over)…

That and some Floor Presses with some sort of EZ bar (very short one) I found in the basement.
A relic from WAAAAY back in my beginner years…
Felt crappy because the bar is so short and all I could use as a “rack” were two very old wooden chairs (chair-legs jammed into my shoulders so that I could rack the short bar on them).
Needless to say I didn’t go all out here…

Yeah. Some more EZ Curls (I hate those) and Floor EZ Extensions and that was it.

PWO meal: My dog. Well, I tried but he escaped. So I settled for something by a company I probably am not allowed to mention in this forum.

Understand now why I’m not posting any workouts ?

Dre, 260 huh ? how much of that is baby weight ? Just kidding man, Im genuinely excited for you guys, You’re gonna be a good dad, takes lots of picture and videos, they grow up quick. Nice bench btw.
Yeah, but I say: Dre, keep your child away from the BOI or it will catch teh ghey at age 0.01.
Josh, Your girlfriend makes me feel funny in my bathing suit area, kind of like when we used to have to climb the rope in gym class. Also, you dont altogether suck at this building muscle thing.
You feel stimulated while climbing a rope? You into those skeletal top-models too or aren’t they ropey enough for you?
Good to be back men,
LiveFromThe781 wrote:

Hm. Did you do close-grips with a narrow grip or shoulder-width (or just inside) ? Elbows tucked?

Did you do reverse-grips back when you used to do like 4 work sets per exercise? If so, you could try them again if you want… The point is to come back and get stronger than you were last time after all.
How did you like them, any trouble with the setup/shoulders ?

Hahaha, pretty much laughing my ass of right now  Just gotta stop laughing every once in a while to shove some more meat into my stomach.

CC, how long have you been without a decent gym now ?
WS4JB wrote:

Half a year or so I think. Occasionally got a decent workout (more like 1 exercise) in (some gyms have enough weight for floor deads and a decent bar, but no racks for the benches or powerracks in general etc so floor deads are the only decent exercise you can do there together with Pendlay’s… etc… )…

Seriously, the gym situation over here is appalling.

My last hope is a temple gym which is supposed to be somewhere in my area… According to gossip they even use lbs on their weight-plates instead of KG lol, so yeah.

If that one turns out to be a dud as well then I’ll just have to save some money and buy myself a kick-ass home-gym. Kinda hard for a self-employed guy over here since I have to pay taxes all the fucking time for years in advance. Hard to get a nice sum together here… Fuck Germany.

Maybe I can get in touch with some of my dad’s German business contacts to open some good gyms over there, sounds like they need it.

My Dad worked for ThyssenKrupp for the last 30 years so I’ve met a ridiculous amount of wealthy germans, maybe I’ll see if Dr. Bart with bring me over there to start up a german fitness franchise.

A man can dream.

I also know a lot of people that own land in Liechtenstein, but thats just a fun fact, really doesnt have much to do with what we are talking about here.
Cephalic_Carnage wrote:

Oh lord, that sucks.

Have you considered other options, like:

  1. Asking a gym manager “nicely” to buy some serious BBs, DBs, plates and machines.
For better effect, you could always mention that his son looks like a good kid, so it’s a shame he has such a long walk home from school without anyone watching over him…

  2. Moving out of Germany (or to a city within the country, with a decent gym or two…).

Maybe you could persuade them to send me money on a monthly ba… Erm, never mind.

I doubt that we’re going to see any great new hardcore gyms in Germany in the near-future… Unless you can sort of have a regular fitness-center and then a hardcore-room in the back or something.
(I’m waiting for cheap jokes on “hardcore-room in the back” now.)

Interesting stuff though, be sure to try that franchise idea

Oh yeah, you may want to do that pretty soon or I’ll have to resort to making elitefts rich…

  1. Yes. I get answers like “we don’t want to turn this into a bodybuilding dungeon” or any of the stock bs we already have a thousand threads about on here.

  2. Yeah. Thing is: Work.

Anyway… It was all good half a year ago when my old gym was still open… Damn.

Maybe I should open one lol.

Have you ever watched Rocky IV? C_C could train like Rocky did. Rocky beat Drago by training in a barn while Drago had access to the best equipment known to man!!!

Today was supposed to be an off day, but I felt like doing some GPP.

Shovel Snow
15 minutes

I got 10$ for it.
