Fck me, gotta work today. How lame. The one bright spot is there are only like 10 cars in the parking lot so I won’t be doing sht today. haha
Hope Santa brought ya’ll some bodybuilding.com t-shirts and spandex for Xmas.
I feel you on the work thing man. I had to work 9 hours on Christmas Eve, missed the gym because I couldn’t get out early, instead I worked OT and I’m at work today and will probably be working at least 9 hours today too.
I work in foreclosures incase you’re curious why I’m so damn busy all the time at work.
Yeah, I bet your ass is pretty busy with all these people defaulting on their loans. Dang.
Its actually ridiculous…unless you work with it you don’t realize how bad it is. I work for like THE biggest default company in California and even with the amount of employees we have we get SLAMMED. Sometimes we will have like 2000 orders come in in a single day. Each order is a mortgage of some kind being foreclosed on.
My company basically handles the foreclosures for the banks, its actually cheaper for banks to outsource it to us rather than doing it in-house.
My last 3 pay periods (1/2 months) have had at least 13+ hours of OT each. And that’s only because I choose not to ever work past 6pm, I could do more OT if I chose…but working past 6pm really starts to F with my gym schedule. I come in an hour early, take a 1/2 lunch and stay an hour late when we are really busy.
That’s just insane. 2,000 a day? You are right, I don’t think anyone outside of your line of work knows how bad it is. I sure as hell didn’t.
I still don’t understand how anyone can afford to buy a home in California.
Not 2000 a day, but that would be a busy day. I would guestimate around 600-1000 a day on a normal day. Anything over 1000/day is pretty busy.
They are cheap right now! lol
Actually I’m hoping to get the rest of my credit cards taken care of within the year so I can buy a condo. You can get a decent condo in my area (which is a nicer, more wanted area) for around 130k. Smaller houses in similar areas for around 300k.
My GF is only 24 and her and her brother (23) bought a house together since they are down right now. They both work at the same company as me actually. lol
Still, $300,000, that’s nuts. We bought our house for a little over $100,000 and it’s a 3BR, 1 Bath. Of course, we live in Wisconsin but still…[/quote]
Lol I guess I didn’t realize just how cheap houses are outside of CA…300,000 sounds good here. lol
But her house is 3 bedroom, 2 bath, big barkyard, etc…its a nice house. But yeah 100,000 sounds better! lol
