Brotherhood of Iron 2.0

oh i also got a blender, time to start making crazy concoctions of gainer powder, peanut butter and milk…maybe some banaynays for potasium.

Ah so it’s kinda like tucking a shirt into pants, but you tuck your hair into your shirt? I see, that’s the new trend. Too bad my hair is about .04 inches long currently.

Ran for the first time in 5-6 days because of all the snow we’ve had, actually got my best 2.5 mile time yet, at a little under 22 minutes. Nothing amazing, but good to see I’m still making progress. Guess breaks do good for even running haha.

word. i have like a mull-hawk thing goin on. so the front is really wide and then it tapers as it goes back, but i just stopped trimming down the sides, didnt have time with school and now the holidays n such but it looks good. i also have really thick hair so my bedhead looks like i styled it that way.

zack galifonakis was talking about that before. he was like, oh people will say do you have a stylist? and hed say no, i just dont wash my hair.

Hope everyone had a good christmas.

To those of you guys who have dieted before: how long before you really started noticing yourself being leaner? I ask because I’m about 2.5 weeks into the diet and I am a little bit leaner (waist came down a couple inches, a bit more vascularity when getting pumped at the gym, a little more leg separation), but I guess it’s tough since weight is fluctuating so much each day and it makes it hard for me to measure progress and every time I look in the mirror I want to see results.

I was feeling kinda shitty this evening and when I got to my family party I thought what the fuck and relaxed the eating a little bit, even though it was night time and I didn’t train (gasp!) I ate potatoes and some lemon pound cake (mm mm good). I think the carbs made me feel better actually and even though I gained a couple pounds I know it’ll go back to normal soon. I’m just in that phase where I just feel smaller but not a whole lot leaner and it’s fucking with my mind big time.

As for what I’m eating, I’m not counting calories every day since it’s been tough with the holidays and the weird schedule but as an outline:

Wake up (10:30AM), drink my morning shake (2 scoops Grow! whey, 1 scoop Metabolic Drive, 1/3 cup rolled oats), 3 Flameout

1:30PM - 2 bigass chicken breasts cooked with olive oil and some cooked broccoli or veggies

Train about 3PM or so, down another shake of 2 scoops whey, 1 scoop Metabolic Drive

5-6PMish - post workout meal. beef or something yummy, nice portion of whole wheat pasta or rice. I get pretty full from this

8:30PM: dinner with fam. I pretty much was just eating meat at this point, some veggies if I could.

11:30PM: either some fish or something or a Metabolic Drive Shake, green tea, 3 Flameout

that’s what I’ve been shooting for, it’s varies a little from day to day, after the holdays are over it should smooth out. I don’t know what im writing this. I’m just freaking out for some reason right now as I rink my green tea.

Stop looking in the damn mirror with your shirt off so much. Take measurements every 2 weeks or so, same with scale weight maybe once a week. Other then that cover up, wear t-shirts and stop checking yourself out so much.

Agree with Josh here Bug, quit being such a damn woman about this. Cripes. Even my wife doesn’t freak out this much. haha

My Christmas was pretty good, dre…hope yours was too!

I told my family and GF that I just wanted XL shirts and stuff…and man did they deliver! I got about 15 or so XL shirts haha.

Mom got me a few more XL dress shirts and a thermal and my sister got me some t-shirts. GF got me like 10 t-shirts, and a really nice stainless steel DKNY watch. Dad let me pick out 2 really good knives - one is a custom spyderco and he gave me $100 to do whatever I want with (probably PS3 games…haha).

And I bought myself a Philips 32" LCD HDTV and a PS3 for my room. I’ve been working LOTS of OT and I sold my home-gym equipment so I decided to treat myself to what I really wanted. haha

Nice Josh. I don’t have a PS3. I won’t let myself get one because I would get addicted to it.

This year we told our families to skip getting stuff for us and get stuff for the baby instead. I tell ya what, I was more excited opening the presents for the hopefully soon to be here baby than I would have been opening stuff for myself.

I know what you’re saying…the excited part is done for me. I really didn’t ask anyone to get me anything, but when people asked I just said if you’re gunna get me something just get me some XL shirts I guess since I need those.

I’d say the most surprising thing was the nice watch, I really had no clue and was not expecting anything other than clothes from anyone so when she gave me the watch I was surprised.

The most exciting thing was seeing my GFs face when I gave her this really nice watch I picked out for her. She said she loves it and its perfect. And also when I gave my sister my old TV she got super excited so that was cool too.

Oh and dre - the addiction thing is why I went with a console instead of building a new gaming computer. Because MMORPGs are what get me, I like shooter games and regular RPGs…but they don’t take over my life like MMORPGs (EQ, EQ2, were the ones that took me over the most, lol).

Plus the PS3 plays blu ray which is seriously AMAZING! Too bad my old DVD/home theater surround system is a couple years old and doesn’t have an optical or coaxial input to hook the PS3 up to it…so until I replace that I don’t have surround sound. :frowning:

I feel you on the work thing man. I had to work 9 hours on Christmas Eve, missed the gym because I couldn’t get out early, instead I worked OT and I’m at work today and will probably be working at least 9 hours today too.

I work in foreclosures incase you’re curious why I’m so damn busy all the time at work.

I hear ya, I spent many hours of my life playing Call of Duty, Splinter Cell, Hitman… etc… etc… on my home PC. I bought a Wii because my wife wanted one and it’s more family oriented. The games aren’t nearly as cool and that cuts down on my game playing time.

I hear the blu-ray player in the PS3 is the top rated player out there, however, it’s going to be a while before we buy a HDTV so the PS3 can wait for now. haha

josh yano what u might like to go with that, those boomshock chairs. THose are the chairs that are like round shaped and u sit in it while u play games but the cool thing is. It has really good speakers on the side so it sounds sick and it vibrates all the time. SO for instance if u shoot someone the chair will start shaking its sick haha

Its actually ridiculous…unless you work with it you don’t realize how bad it is. I work for like THE biggest default company in California and even with the amount of employees we have we get SLAMMED. Sometimes we will have like 2000 orders come in in a single day. Each order is a mortgage of some kind being foreclosed on.

My company basically handles the foreclosures for the banks, its actually cheaper for banks to outsource it to us rather than doing it in-house.

My last 3 pay periods (1/2 months) have had at least 13+ hours of OT each. And that’s only because I choose not to ever work past 6pm, I could do more OT if I chose…but working past 6pm really starts to F with my gym schedule. I come in an hour early, take a 1/2 lunch and stay an hour late when we are really busy.
