cc ironically I’ve grown the most since I stopped bb squatting and deadlifting lol. I think it’s been 5-6 months on this bulk now and these have been the greatest gains by far that I’ve ever gotten. My legs were under 24 inches when I started this bulk they are up to 26 1/4 now as of this morning.

I was never good at bb squat and never progressed far, since switching to the hack squat I’m progressing super fast and my legs and everything else are blowing up. I also haven’t bb benched this entire bulk either lol. So much for just squat, dead, and bench huh?

Btw ever since they updated the site a few weeks ago it sucks going on here with my iPhone.

let me explain this lift…or try to. Basically its the same as behind the neck extensions except i do them bent over with a cable.

Behind Neck Cable (double pulley)

180x8

for most lifts except finishers, i like to get 8 reps in each set before i move up in weight.

this next exercise i take a bench infront of a cable station and lay on it while curling the bar to my head, i do “mini pumps” which is the very last inch or so ROM to just get a pump going. i do 2 weight categories, working weight and finishing weight, the reps differ also.

Lying Curl (single pulley)

72x8
72x7
72x5

Lying Curl (fisnisher version)

48x10 (did them almost immediately after my last working set)
48x13+mini pumps
48x9+mini pumps

then i just went to the pushdown and fucked around for a pump, didnt log any of it though.

I can beat that, I benched over 300 while my arms measured in the 14ish range.

But,but my favorite coach said I only needed compound movement and I would get huge everwhere and I would get leaner, and my dick would grow 2 feet.

Ive come to learn that back squats do nothing but make my ass grow too.

And for all the people who say chins and deadlifts make your arms grow, I could do 25+ full ROM chins and deadlift 405x5 when I had 14" arms.

Also, my younger brother deadlifted 385 with 13" arms… :stuck_out_tongue:

Vegg have you considered swapping BB military for something else? If I was regressing on a lift like you are I’d be swappng it for sure.

I’ll see how I perform with it next week as I was progressing nicely until today. If I still suck, I’ll probably change it to DB shoulder press first then HS Shoulder Press.

Probably just another off workout today though. School has been pretty stressful lately and I have essays coming out the wazoo… Only two weeks to go though.

Overall, real good day. I’ll get that video up later tonight… biceps went quite well. The 14 reps on the CGBP destroyed me and I almost went down early in the second RP set. good times.

As we were leaving my friend who is enormous (was 5th at NPC Junior Nationals last year) showed up and was doing biceps… god, makes me feel like a fucking infant. He was doing concentration curls with a 95… piece of shit.

small update

did cardio tonight, 30 mins, 3.5mph 10 incline walking.

weighed in after: down 3.5lbs (228.5-225)

so far, in the last 4 weeks of my first cycle of Sheiko, I’ve lost 3.5 lbs, added 40lbs to my deadlift and 10 lbs to my bench.

I can’t imagine I’ve GAINED fat and LOST muscle with numbers like that.

stay tuned tomorrow for squat testing…

edit: Vegg, I’m at 275 for bench, forgot to adjust my percentages for the last cycle, was doing less then I thought. I bumped it up to 285 for the next one. I should be about 2 months away from 315.
