i got sad i was the only one posting in the PR thread and was hoping i wasnt the only person on this section lifting then i remembered this thread.
todays my off day but yesterday i hit 385x5 on the deadlift. shit went sour afterwards though, only hit 385x2 on my next set and i cant remember what else, but i gave it everything i had til i could only do 345x1 and then walked away to do cable rows.
today in class the girl who sits next to me said, damn youre gettin all big?
i said, what are you talking about you didnt know i lifted before?
she goes, no youve always been fit but now youre looking huge, guess cause youve been wearing hoodies the last couple days.
i thought it was funny she thought i gained inches on my shoulders in a matter of weeks…
A couple things, I’ve read that Sheiko does less for bench then it does for squat/deadlift, so I’m going to take that into considering.
And I’ve grown up with two dogs, Casper and Tara. Had them both since I was 2. My earliest memories of life was getting those dogs. Well Casper died yesterday afternoon, and I’ve been feeling off all day. So that might be something to do why I couldn’t get 285 past 3-4 inches. They are both old, way older then anyone expected. And her joints where gone, so at least she’s in a better place now.
Squats on friday, hoping for at least 365-375. Then in 2 more cycles of this I should be at LEAST at a 3/4/5 about a month after my 19th birthday.

It never gets old does it? Every time someone tells me I look huge or I’ve gotten bigger, etc it makes me feel good. Even though I don’t feel big at all yet, lol.

The DB presses went better than last week. I think the issue was core stabilization. Since, there’s no back support on these, my torso had to work harder to support the weights. The 50’s went up fine and smooth, we’ll see if I can go back to 55 next session.

Oh and speaking of which, CC and Scott M, even though I don’t get to put much of your advice to use right now, trust me; I’m reading and remembering for when I work on packing the weight on again.
*Strict, very limited/no lower back swing. Good stretch at top between reps. This was the entire stack.
V-grip Cable Row:
275x8, 250x12
*Pretty strict, very limited lower back swing. Heavy set was entire stack + a 25lb plate attached to the stack. Good stretch between reps.
Yates Row (overhand):
335x8, 295x13
Note: Decided not to do the cable rows RP style anymore because last week it really took a toll on my lower back and made doing the Yates Row afterward suck.
Josh you fucker! I upped my lat pulldown weight too and you did even more! Piece of shit. I did some more reps but you fuck. I’m gonna do 255 for 12 next week.
My stack goes to 250lbs at my gym…so next week I will be bringing a chain probably to attach a couple 10lb plates to the stack. I was already planning on bringing a chain bc I need to attach more weight to the pec-deck station also.
For my cable rows I just took one of the pins from the other station and used it to attach a 25lb plate.

I’ve found a company around my way that does it and its awesome just had two glasses after my workout as opposed too my whey shake(sadly if i over do the whey i feel like shit) going too see how it goes.

I have to agree…anyone under 25 I don’t think need a test booster. However, you can have that checked out at your next physical to see where your levels are.
I haven’t had it, I’ve wanted to try it but the only place locally I’ve found that has it is Wholefoods and they are out of the way and expensive…so I typically just drink lots of regular whole milk.

Seriously though, I got my friend to lend me her camera, so after tonight, I’ll put up a vid of some of my worksets or parts of them (since they’re long). Mainly though it’s for my DB curls that CC is gonna say I’m doing wrong.
