And I don’t think I need to tell you that “retard” doesn’t come to mind at all. More like “giggety-giggety!” And nice pajama bottoms, btw. ;)
New here, Bre, just wanted to say “This ^^^^” and you’re wicked strong. Your log is fun to read. I’ll be following too :)
I am a huge bw whore… I am on a BW only deload week.
Handstand work
L sit
frog stands
Pistols
squats
lunges or step ups
Pullups
H.Rows
pushups
lever pushup
diamond pushups
bridging work
Hanging leg/knee raises
Um yea there ya go… I normally on my deload stuff keep it simple pick 2 or 3 movements do 3-5 sets of each and call it a day.
My shoulders, elbows and knees are hypermobile. It’s pretty common in women. Over the last couple years my shoulders have lost most of their wonky mobility from lifting and not stretching. My lifting partner has one hypermobile shoulder and she frets about losing dumbbells over her head when benching. Over time she’ll build enough mass around there that it shouldn’t be a problem. Take note of whether you want it to stay or not, because if you keep lifting you may lose it.

I dont think having my elbows bend in allows me or my offspring any evolutionary advantage…so I’m willing to sacrifice

wtf is an “H” row please?.. I also like the handstand

Bulgarian split squats are always good for bw stuff. wall sits too! i second the inverted rows–those are quite difficult for me.
you’re way flexy! in my skinny days i could pop my shoulder blades out like a disgusting insect…not any more :}
it’s interesting to me that muscle can deter your range of motion…but all of these crazy figure kids who do the splits and shit…doesnt seem to stop them!? hmm.

My shoulders aren’t quite that flexible, but I do have extra bendy elbows - doesn’t bother my lifting though.
My fav bw exercises are
Chin-ups
Push-ups
Plank work
Squats
Burpees
Inverted rows
and I love my blast straps for bw work
Oh and very nice pics. Nom indeed!
looks like you enjoy working the bag as well what’s an inverted row? I <3 burpees until I die. funtimes.
I do enjoy hitting the heavy bag!
Inverted row: Start lying on your back with something above you to grab on to (blast straps, barbell etc) and pull your chest to the bar (or handles). Like the opposite of a push-up. If that makes sense.
hey yeah do some bulgarian split squats for BW.
You’ll love them I promise!
Now do ninety six of them.
No worries thats just forty three per leg.
Have much funo!
