not bored with photos from your webcam, but it would be cool to have some art. the modeling sounds cool.
world is your oyster… that is a nice way to look at it.
i should think of my finishing up in the same way. having some psychological difficulty coming to terms with not being a student anymore that are making it hard for me to write…
Those are some very respectable goals. Do you still feel a tightness in your chest when you exercise? Do you take fish oil?
When I started putting on size for the first time I remember being both disappointed that certain shirts and dresses didn’t look as good as they used to and at the same time impressed at what my muslces looked like. Do you feel like you look better naked than you used to?
Lastly, do you have any specific number goals? I know, for me at least, number goals are a little worthless because once i reach them i start slacking, like a 200lb deadlift is the most i’m meant to lift in this lifetime. Lol. But for some people it’s motivating far beyond what your body looks or feels like.
Bre: Sounds like a plan. And really, like you, I’m also mostly in pursuit of a feeling–rather than a specific, tangible goal. So, I totally get what you are after.
If you’re not used to the cardio it might slow your strength gains down, but the human body is an incredible machine. It will adapt to new stressors in time.
HOpe things settle down for you. I’m jealous of the dance/paint studio.
I don’t see anything wrong with working out less, muscle growth happens when when we are recovering anyway. You could think of this as an experiment to see if you can keep or even get more strength gains with less workouts. Your body is the lab, experiment, that sounded kinky.
@Ironcross- hi nice to meet you. i dont take fishoil… have in the past and they kinda give me a rash. regarding the heart… it feels tight when Im at work. i think it’s stress + bad lab air. We work with a lot of formaldehydes and xylenes and I notice i sometimes feel it at work, and then when i go away for a weeekend outside I feel better. The heart thing is better, but Im definitely more prone to getting my heart racing… like from stupid things like feeling claustrophobic.
Sometimes it really pounds when I row hard, but I think it’s normal. Come to think about it it’s probably bad air rather than a year long ago o/d. hmm. Yes, I feel better naked. Most of my problem people, is that im a bit too poor right now to buy all new clothes, so I keep putting it off. Aesthetically Im sure Id look fine if I had the money to go and do some proper shopping. Im kind of realizng that…
I already noticed in the past week since I havent been lifting/had the time to eat much that I like I look noticeably leaner. When I workout my body swells a LOT, so I just have to realize that about myself. I feel like a moron talking about it like this but it is hard to accept when youre used to judging the way you look by different standards. I thought I would be totally okay with this, and usually I am… but then the last two months i felt a bit out of control with the size/growth. So like everything it’s a give and take.
@nadia- exactly - I am in pursuit of feeling AND vasculature - because i think it’s sexy on women.
sounds awesome. your goals sound good, too. i don’t really have particular goals. i mean i set myself milestones based on bodyweight strength - but am happy for any PR chasing the feeling sounds good, too.
Your rowning workout sounds pretty brutal. Not surprised your heart pounds. I think that’s pretty normal. I remember doing a 500m challenge at the gym (I won, incidentally) and it felt as though I’d torn the lining of my throat. It’s a tough workout.
Having said that, have you had your heart checked out since the ecstasy incident? Might be an idea, just to be safe.
