YES MY FAVORITE!!! ASS ON ASS!! Thanks for making me laugh, ladies. Needed it today

Yeah don’t try that with a baseball.

Why do I have a feeling that the german version of tennis balls are as hard as baseballs…^^^

Warm Up
Row - sprint 1000m. Split time 2:03min/500m this was very interesting.

Streeeeeeeeeeeeeetch.

Pull Up Fun Time
Overhand 10 x 20kg assist
overhand 10 x 15kg assist
overhand 5 x 10 kg assist 2r
underhand body weight x 2 3r
I dont really have a good bar to do kips on. Oh well.
overhand arm hang…I dont know for how long. 3r to failure

Bent over dumb bell rows
10 x 12kg 1r
10 x 16kg 2r
7 x 18kg 2r
5 x 20kg 3r
7 x 18kg 3r - focusing on generating a velcity against Fg. I miss physics class. And drawing vectors. and solving equations. That have answers. Unlike biology, where there are no answers. ugh.

seated row
15kg x 10 2r
20kg x 10 2r
25kg x 8 2r
30kg x 4 2r
35kg x 3 3r
25kg x 5 3r … I like these 80% max power sets. grrrr!!!

fucking around with shrugs
14kg DBs x 20
18kg DBs x 14
20kg DBs x 10 - is this bad for your joints? Seems like it might be.

Actually, I’m double jointed in my shoulders. Somehow I can bring my elbows together in front of me and touch them together. This makes for awkward benchs and first dates due to my extreme range of motion.

Then I went to the Frauen corner to think about my squat form.
Ass is still tight on left side, so stretched until I loosened it up a bit. Worked more on form, and I feel much most stable and solid at 90 deg than I did before. Wasn’t hurting at the end of the warm up, but still sore walking home. Going to give it a few more days to recover before I start with deads etc again.

Call me crazy, but I LOVE the way this feels.

I’m just a huge fan of shiatzu and anything raining down from a 10 story building and landing on my back…<>

Yes, there is a bit of pleasure that comes with pain. It’s why I don’t mind massaging bruises and such. Especially on the shins… Not sure about the 10-story thing, though.

Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP - We No Speak Americano (Official Video) - YouTube when this song plays at my gym, everyone immediately starts bobbing their heads up and down. it’s pretty funny.

AHHH!!! NOVEMBER IS GOING TO BE INFUCKINGTENSE!!!

Tangoed on Friday night, and my left ass started to hurt when led to a volcada:
Tango - Volcada Demo - YouTube (0:19s is a good example of the movement) so I left early, because I hate not being able to dance to my ability.

I’m all over the place with my workouts. Im still finding the program that I like and trying to work on technique a lot.

Warm Up
Row - sprint 1000m. Splits in row speak = time per 500 meters. Split time 2:03min. This means I completed the sprint in 4:06min. This is 4 minutes of pain and pleasure. The feeling of wanting to vomit and pass out at the end. Love it. So addictive. My goal is to get up to 5 x 2000m work outs (sprints). This will take time, and more work at steady state or 60-80%…

Streeeeeeeeeeeeeetch.

Bench
bar x 20 1r
15kg x 20 1r - right shoulder feels like it’s grinding, makes some strange sounds
20kg x 10 2r
25kg x 8 2 r
30kg x 6 1 r
35kg x 3 1r - at this point, never fails, someone comes over and asks me if I need help. Must be the grunting. I manage to say “nein, danke” but one day “piss off mother fucker” will come out, and dont say I didnt warn you.
30kg x 6 6reps fuck yeah.

Bent over dumb bell rows
10 x 12kg 1r
10 x 16kg 1r
7 x 18kg 1r
5 x 20kg 4r
5 x 22kg 2r

Curls
8kg x 10 2r
10kg x 10 3r
12kg x 4 4r

seated row - explosive reps
15kg x 20 1r
20kg x 20 1r
25kg x 10 1r
30kg x 8 2r
35kg x 4 1r
25kg x 8 3r …

Row - steady state 2000m. Split time 2:20min forced myself to stay back. This is a good cool down for me and a good workout for abs/legs on the negative, or ‘compression’ going up the slide. I dont want to have this muscle spasm shit in my ass, so I guess Im going to HAVE to do some cardio. Whatevs, it’s worth it if I can lift more.
WSU women's rowing - YouTube - awesomeness 2:43
tricep pull downs
5kg x 20 1r
7.5kg x 10 2r
10kg x 8 2r
12.5kg x 8 3r - I should have done more, but I got lazy at the end…

then I went to the solarium for 15min because I havent seen the sun in DAYS.

Hoping to start squatting and deads again next week Monday…

That Yolanda Be Cool song has been very popular in the UK this summer. It tends to drive people nuts but I do like the video.
You do a lot of volume don’t you?

yes… i have this theory that volume builds strength, and strength avoids injury. Is that stupid? Srsly no idea…

I also eat a lot of dicke bohne…I recommend it to all the ladies…though the ‘hangdown type’ have been a bit of a dissappointment.

Such a poetic language, German. Only the Germans could call something beautiful, like jewellery, “Schmuck”. I’m not fond of broad beans, actually. Even the hangdown ones.

HAH. Tell me about it… but what 's your opinion on the volume?!

always depends on your goals.

I haven’t got the patience for volume. I get bored quickly and want out of the gym. If you can do it, good on you.

Seems like all the cool kids are doing high volume these days, but it’s not my cup o’ tea. I’d rather slap more iron on
