I won’t be sticking to any specific diet for a while. I’m starting college and don’t know what I’ll have available. Plus, I need a break.

workouts??

Agreed. Where are the workouts?

I know Brendan was moving to Florida to begin school at UF, so that probably explains the reason he hasn’t posted.

He was supposed to be here as of July 2, so he should be settled in and been able to find a local gym or some of the UF rec centers.

Where you at boy? You going to stop by my house one of these days for a workout?

I see you’re back Brendan, how about an update?

.

He posted in another thread, I was thinking he might see his log bumped up to the top. I’m not crazy I swear haha

Yeah, where is that mofo! He’s supposed to be in town and should come to my place for a workout sometime…Nate Dogg style.

Maybe he’s enjoying college life too much at UF.

GO GATORS!

Yeah Brendan you have a reputation to keep here!

Another great workout where I smashed my previous weights. I’m realizing that I really like this style of training. One heavy set beyond failure. Maybe I’ll return to DC training sometime soon. Oh yeah, the machine rows were definitely different.

A lot has changed since I last posted. I’m sitting at 200lbs at around 9% bodyfat. That’ll probably go up though since it’s Christmas time. I have to eat at the college diner so I’m struggling to keep it as clean as possible.

Squat is 390lbs
Bench is 290lbs
Deadlift is 480lbs

Holy crap. 2 pages ago you were 165!!! Hope things are going well man. I remember reading your posts when you were preparing for your contest - you were an inspiration. Your attention to detail impressed me the most. Todays the first time I found this thread, so I just saw your contest pics. Pretty cool dude.

You gotta put a picture on here. 200lbs!! 480 deadlift… Damn what are they feeding you out there…

Seriously, what do you think you changed? Just started eating everything and by mistake gained a bunch of muscle, thus realizing your former low-carb ways were erroneous? Spill the beans man, what’d you do?

Hope college is going well. Take it easy bro!

Actually, yes for a while I ate pretty much everything and sight and just trained. I made some good gains but I think the thing that helped me the most was that I started training with a powerlifter I met at UF. He’s much stronger than me and it motivated me to improve my lifts. His training just blew me up!

I’ll try to get a picture some time soon.

Comments:
Not the best workout ever. I seem to have a love-hate relationship with DB presses. They take so much out of you just to get them in position. I wanted to go for 5 with the 105s but the gym I’m currently training at doesn’t have 105s - lol. Other than the machine overhead presses and the pec dec being different it was a good workout. Tomorrow is finally a rest day.
