Leg; soz for the dodgy angle

Now this pic is intresting. Those are a 34inch waist pair of jeans i used to wear all the time. Now they’re sooo ridiculously big for me.
For me this diet is not an absolute but rather a vital step in becoming the best athlete i can be. Was it difficult? It depends on how serious your are about achieving your goals. If you have the right mind set, this diet will be a piece of cake! We are human though and i did have a couple of lapses but all things considered i am ecstatic about the results. Do it as prescribed and so will you be!
I can??t wait to get back to playing soccer again and see how quick i am. I’m entering the transition period now and will let you know how that goes.
If any of you are currently on the diet or want to start the diet any time soon don??t hesitate to ask me any questions. I’ll also like to state that i had many questions myself prior and during the diet and whilst many were answered by the vast range of info on this website, Chris was very good in responding quickly to my direct questions i sent him.
Peace
Dav
Congrats dude.
I’ve got 6 days left, 14.1 pounds down and down from 25% body fat to 18.5%. Hopefully I can finish up strong.
How much weight did you lose in the last week?

Wow from 25% to 18.5? Thats amazing dude, one thing i didnt do is get my bf% checked, i have no idea what it is. I think i lost about 4-5 pounds in the last week.Do you have any before/ after pics?
I think its also important to remember that the transistion period is just as significant as the diet itself. Need to be very careful with food choices, timing etc.

I was pretty impressed as well. I had just started to get back into lifting and neglected my legs up until this diet, so I had quite a bit of leg muscle that I had gained two years ago that came back on very quickly so I know for sure I gained a few pounds of muscle there which is always nice. The fat literally is just melting off, dunno whether its the HOT-ROX or not. Sadly I do not have any before or after photos, I didn’t think a thing about it when I started but really wish I did. Instead of being overweight now I’m just average and everyone comments on how skinny I’m looking (bullshit, but its a nice gesture)
I’m absolutely obsessive to get down to 9%, I imagine when I get down to about 13-14%, the Velocity Diet will be revisited to get the job done.
Nice work!
WOW!!! Those are great results- I am on day 19 and it is very exciting to hear everyones’ success stories.
I did not do photos either- probably in to much denial about where I am at…but I have a great jump on the lean life!
Please keep posting! Anyone else out there?
Anyone posting their transition weeks and that progression?
All the best and Happy Holidays!

Haha denial was my problem too, nice motivation to not get a new camera =]. Day 19 is almost home, congrats on making it this far, finish line is almost there.
Congrats man
As of day 23 I was down 17lbs from 217 but my weight has been shifting…I’m still happy about going down to 28% bf from 31.5 though. So what did you do to transition off of the V-Diet because I plan to keep on losing weight by just adding meals per week and building up to 4 regular meals by the end of my first month off the V-Diet.
First day. Not bad at all. If anything it was difficult for the wrong reasons. I’m used to having about 1.5 meals in my normal day. I usually wake up around 8 or 9 and skip breakfast to get to work. I wake up late because I stay up late and it feels like I never get enough sleep.
It is probably because I don’t exercise and I eat poorly so my body is constantly playing catchup and dragging. I weigh about 235 and I have a stocky built by nature but I think I have about 35 lbs to potentially loose.
So I found myself being FULL after my first shake of the day. I drink my shakes in two hour increments. 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm. I guess the idea is to have my metabolism constantly working for me. But it appears as if my body is not used to this idea whatsoever.
As soon as I had my first shake I felt satisfied and didn’t even see myself wanting any other food for the day. But after each shake I got more full and more full and more full. I hope this changes because I feel bloated and sick.
The HOT-ROX are doing their thing I guess. I don’t feel any different. No heart palpitations or hard thumping. My stomach feels fine. I had no “rush” or anything remotely similar. It actually felt like my energy levels stayed pretty consistent throughout the day.
Which is not normal for me so its interesting that I notice that looking back at the day. Usually after I eat my big lunch (no breakfast of course) I just get tired and feel like I have to nap.
I made the diet public and it was interesting to hear the responses from people at my work. Some people were telling me how much I was going to hate it, others joked about how they will miss eating lunch with me, and others were extremely happy and supportive.
Coincidently enough those who were supportive were those who had either successfully completed the V-Diet or those who were soon going to start it. I’m glad I went public because I feel more accountable.
So thats it for Day/Round 1. Nothing exciting. I’m just not used to eating this much which will probably be much different for most people. I’m not starved AT ALL. Quite the opposite. Shakes don’t taste bad. I had 5 chocolate shakes. I don’t think i’m getting enough calories. Probably around 1200. And I think I need about 350-400 more if I’m supposed to be doing this correctly.
how you doing keeping the fat off man?
wow, nice work. I’m impressed
Thanks for your comment guys, but it just goes to show that if you follow the program accurately you too should get similar if not better results.
Ok im nearing the end of my transition period now. It was kinda difficult because this was during the festive weeks but i managed to get through it ok; making the right food choices and not missing any workouts. However one thing i did stop doing was the morning walks and started to sprint again on non weight days, man ive never felt so quick before!
In first couple of days of the transition, i did indeed put on a pound, as expected. Actually i was expecting to put on 3 or 4 pounds, but i didn’t. However 5-7 days after i lost another 2 pounds! Since then my weight has stayed the same. So as you can imagine i’m more than pleased with the results. And by the way this last week i have been eating a few junky snacks and i will continue to do so since im at a good bf% and i train hard.
I really tried to keep my transition a slow and steady one in order to avoid shocking my body. I wasn’t really eating full meals until week 2 of the transition. I kept my carbs to about 100grams and then kept carbs to a minimum in the evening. My weight training program stayed the same throughout the entire diet. I know many advise that you should change your program frequently but i managed to keep consistently losing fat with a weight program i followed for 6 weeks.
So now that everything is nearing an end, im ready to move on with my next stage. Instead of going crazy and trying to build as much muscle as possible im going to attempt Waterbury’s 10/10 transformation. I think this is a great follow up since you will continue to lose fat in the first 3 weeks but you eventually bring hypertrophy back in to it! The idea is to lose 10 pounds of fat and add 10 pounds of muscle. Waterbury says that you should allow yourself two cheat meals a week, but the diet seems so easy compared to the v-diet. After 10/10 i will go for a pure strength and muscle building program.
Also i would lastly like to emphasize that your eating habits really do change as a consequence of this diet, hence why Waterbury’s diet seems like a piece of cake (pun intended).
Good luck to everyone else, see it to the end cus its worth it!
