Braces Support for Anterior Pelvic Tilt

Hi there, I’m a T-Nation surfer for the last 4 years , even tho thus is my first post ;).
I’m suffering from anterior pelvic tilt and lower back problem since I remember myself.
For the last 2 years I put so much effort and energy to do my best to fix it, read almost everything on the web regarding my problem.
I can say , regardless the knowledge the I’m kind of expert to my problem.
But,
I can’t see my condition as been improve that much .

My question is: regarding lower back kind of braces,
This just 1 exemple from searching google -
www.lp-support.com/product/detail.php?PID=916&PPID=163

There is not that much information regarding lower back braces as part of posture/rehab programs.

Right now I’m in modified “neantherthal no more” program.
As we all know its not enough to work 1 hour a day to fix posture problem,
Its a lot about what u doing in the other 23 hours.

So, during the day, walking, sitting, sleeping…

  1. there is any specificily braces support design to help fixing anterior pelvic tilt?
  2. there is any good using it?, will it “shut down” the muscle who create posterior tilt (abs, glute, hamstring) and by that make it worst?

Tnx for the help

This posture gives you low back problems? Is it just your lower back posture or have you considered the c-spine and thoracic spine?

Tried googling your brace, link wasn’t effective (might be partially on me). Haven’t looked into detail the neaderthal program, just remember it basically just being a overview of shortened and lengthened muscles in various postural deviations.

As far as bracing, it depends, if the brace is a hard plastic or rigid then it will most likely weaken postural muscles. One shirt I like for throwing athletes with poor thoracic posture (kyphosis) which results in a lumbar lordosis is the intelli-skin. It provides proprioceptive feedback to remind you to maintain proper posture, kids wear them 1-2 hours a day initially. The company make even make a lumbar/hip one, you may want to look into it.

Keep working at its almost impossible to achieve perfect posture for many of us, just keep striving to make small improvements.

tnx for the answer BHOL.
I fixed the link, will appreciate if u can check it again.

I went to intellliskin website , it’s look pretty amazing.
The predator 2.0 short is a very impressive, I will try to see if I can find a better price, 350$ it’s a lot above my budget.
As I mention it’s really difficult to keep a perfect posture, mentally and physiclly.

I forgot to mention that I have 2 blurred disks, l4-l5, l5-s1.

Any other cheaper product?
There is any medical research beahind braces support?

In response to the brace you show, if I was having a lot of back pain i would consider getting it, if I was getting it to help with posture I would probably not get it.
