Did I mention the ole wrestling injury that broke my SC joint and permantly displaced my collerbone into my chest making it almost impossible to sleep on my left side or do dips?

Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We can make him better than he was. Better…stronger…faster…

Thanks for all the early chiming in. Part of the reason I made this log was some public accountability to keep me in line while this new work project is consuming me. Funny thing is, this past year…getting back into things…starting to post on this forum again for the first time in half a decade was we kept me going.

Trying to keep all clean type movements light and will be purposely progressing in weight as slow as possible while my right trap/shoulder gets back to full speed. My right trap is a noob…

FYI I used liquid grip for the first time, stuff is pretty cool.

Take your time, man. You’re doing great.

I want to learn hang cleans.

How did you learn hang cleans?

My Thibs avatar impersonation last night…seems legit…lol

@Bird High School Wrestling Coach. Was this big mofo who used to play for the Rams back in his Uncle Rico days.

Clocked in around 4k calories yesterday. Tonight Starts Yom Kippur so I will be fasting for 24 hours, going to pad the calories before and after hence the very high day yesterday. Also moving saturdays workout to Sunday and most likely skipping this weekends conditioning session. Let’s hope this whole atonement thing goes smooth, not a generally happy person when I fast.

Ya Waittz liquid grip works pretty good.I switched to that instead of chalk a couple of years ago.I lift at home and the mess that chalk would make was terrible so I had to find a alternative.

Yeah, was really impressed with it, and the nice thing is it doesnt ‘leave your mark’ all over the bars either. Between the taped thumbs and stained white hands I got some pretty funny looks last night, my gym is more of a weekend warrior and quarter squat with a polo shirt type crowd.

They had some of that stuff at the Arnold this year. They had grip challenges set up that you could do, but you had to use the liquid stuff instead of chalk. Was pretty cool.

Gassed out after cleans so my push press was light. Gym doesn’t have a dip belt so to do weighted pull-ups I have to hold a dumbbell between my feet. So much for going easy on cleans. Had some frustrations that I took out on the barbell. Ice pack sitting on my bum shoulder just for precaution. I’ve been getting into a habit of doing it post workout these days.

Some personal stuff:

Food wise…ugh. Got in under 2k cals yesterday, and today I got to the gym with under 800 for the day by then. I have a project I am running, there is over $1 million in risk involved that is resting solely on my shoulders. Between that and planning the wedding I am just consumed, not to mention the businesses I run for my parent company in a huge growth phase and I am having issues balancing that with my new project. My life is pretty hectic right now(in a good way) hence the power clean therapy session. Still reading 1-2 books a week on top of everything else. When my mind gets in full gear like it is now my appetite just disappears. Just going to go with the flow and see what happens.

If anyone is curious I’ll post the launch of the project on here this week once the website is ready. Maybe even some ‘behind the scenes type things’. Most likely Friday at the latest ill have some cool stuff to put up.

Love peace and bacon grease.

Thanks, we got engaged a while back now we have to start planning. Actually want to mention her hitting a PR squat the other day. She hit 135 for 5. And her depth would put most to shame  i have proof.

Ill give a hint about the project, if you are a fan of Rock music you are going to love it.
