The facts that we know for sure are; that millions of germans rallied behind him, he turned their “shithole” into a super power, Through his leadership and his power of persuasion he had average everday germans commit some of the most heinous acts in history. So what I am saying is, at that specific time Germany was ready for a charismatic leader, they got Hitler, who used his power to commit evil. What if he would have instead been all about stopping world hunger or advancing medical research to cure diseases? Imagine the kinds of things he could have done with the whole country behind him.
And yes in America with our current style of government this would never happen. Some one would have to take over the country by force and establish themselves as a dictator. Or we as Americans will get so fed up with our government that we will revolt and establish our own leader who will actually get shit done. Keep your fingers crossed maybe we will see it in our life time.

Read up on WW2 they only backed him because they were in such a rut this is pretty much fact, same thing in Russia the tsar was fucking up bug time. So nothing good would have happened if Hitler was a nice guy because the German people would have gained nothing by it.

I did not say you were wrong although I do believe that no matter what Hitler would have been in control of that country one way or another. The only thing that changes if you take WWI out of the equasion is that he wouldn’t have been allowed to make himself the Furher or whatever they called him.

There waiting for any big piece of literature and since it was A. the U.S. and B. stated multiple times that the bible was burned it’s understandable.

I thought the movie had a cool concept for a setting, post-apocalyptic world where the concepts of faith and believing in something larger than yourself are alien, how do you rebuild from that? 3/5, twist was crazy, Denzel and Gary were great, fight scenes, and Mila Kunis. What more do you need to see a movie?
