I know its been cast for a long time. I just saw the trailer on the big screen the otherday. I wasn’t sure how cage would be. Sometimes hes an over actor.

Great. A 40-something, receding hairline douche playing a character that’s supposed to be half his age. Way to go once again, Hollywood.

Exactly. As far as Hollywood, Matt Damon is about the guy that comes to mind right now. At the very least they could have got some young buck from TV to play Johnny.

“Indian” Larry built a bike with a chain frame before his untimely death a couple years ago. That is one badass chopper design.

Let’s not forget the new superman that doesn’t even look like he can crush a beer can.

everyone keeps saying this, but i watched the original duperman the other day, and chris reeve was not biiger than routh, imo. and if he was, it wasnt by much

furthermore, superman doesnt need to be that jacked anyway. he is an alien, an extra inch on his biceps isnt going to make him stronger

Gee, you’d think that if his muscularity was a non-issue, they wouldn’t be drawing him looking like a bodybuilder for the last 60-70 years.

They’re not drawing him that young anymore. I actually think he may pull this off. He did well in Gone in 60 Seconds.

Check out the “Rise of the Midnight Sons” story. It was a multi-title spanning story including Ghost Rider, Spirits of Vengance, Nightstalkers (very early appearance of Blade I believe), Morbius, and one other title I believe. Spirits of Vengance was sweet, Venom showed up early on in that title also. If I remember correctly it was a 12 issue storyline, but it has been over 10 years since I have looked at all my books.

That guy there isn’t Johnny Storm, though. I guess it will depend on what they do with the story line.

I don’t have Nick Cage issues like some. Lord of War was one of my favorite movies in the last year. He’s also a big enough cat to not look like a wuss on a hog.

A picture of the bike used in the movie:

I agree. I think Cage will do fine. He’s also a big comic book fan.
