Those look tasty, what’s the brand?
Wegmans sells it. I haven’t seen the “real” Sriracha there in forever. To me, it tastes more smokey and less sweet than the huy fong brand.
Thanks! I’ve seen that there, never picked it up before. My Wegmans is about 50/50 on having sriracha and when they do have it the price is mind boggling. I read some Reddit conspiracy thread in the middle of the night a few months back about the chili growers manipulating the market, I remember no details but it’s a conspiracy I’m willing to believe in blindly lol
I mean, it sounds legit to me. All these chili farmers gotta get theirs as well. I don’t blame them lol

This is a somewhat vague writeup, but for anyone who knows anything about Brian’s programming, it’s fairly straightforward. Strict 90 seconds rest between rounds.
I am sweating bullets. Probably not a great idea doing deadlift days back to back, but I survived. Definitely going to be walking goofy for a day or two. I foresee my work capacity exploding from this.

First day of the new job today and it went well. I am so ready to be building towards a new routine, for now. Soon, it’ll be flipped on its head yet again.
I want to get through at least 3 lifting days this week. I can’t believe it’s been 5 days since the last time I lifted, and I can’t let that become my new normal.
I got some, had it on some teriyaki heavy stirfry so couldn’t really tell the difference between it and HF sriracha.
I’m already sold on it though because the pouring mechanism is way better than the squeeze bottle which always gets clogged up on the HF kind.
Thing of beauty
Hell yeah! Glad you found it ok as a replacement. I definitely agree with the horrible pouring tip, the sky valley one never gets clogged.

Fuck those hollow rocks. They sucked. It seems my abs and lower back are a weak point. There’s a lot of ab work in this program so that should be being addressed as the program goes on.
Squats moved well but were quite difficult.
Rolled out of bed this morning and just had to sit there and laugh for a second. Legs are quite toasty. Got lots of stairs, ladders and crouching lined up for today.
What are hollow rocks? My initial thought was those poorly designed “secret” key hiders
“Lie on your back with your arms overhead and crunch your abs to create a “hollow” position—this should elevate your feet and arms from the floor. Shift your weight to begin rocking back and forth slightly while maintaining the hollow position—don’t allow yourself to straighten from this crunched position.”

This was miserable. Took my trap bar for a walk in the backyard for the first time ever and it was intense. My traps are lit up.
@tlgains boilerman is now so strong he can chop wood with just a band.
@simo74 maybe by the end of the program!
I was going to like your post until I saw the paused deadlifts in there. I’m sorry, both for you having to do paused deadlifts and for me not liking your post…
Haha I fully understand. There’s nothing worse than pre-fatiguing paused work, deadlifts especially. It was the most difficult day of the program so far.

Wow. I didn’t do nearly as well today as I anticipated. I missed a rep on GS1 and had a hell of a time with all the rest of the Z Press stuff. I completely over estimated my strength on it. The waiter holds were closer to 25 seconds than 30, I just couldn’t hold the BB up any longer.
However, I give myself a big ol slap on the ass for lifting two days in a row. Good things are happening body comp wise and I feel outstanding after completing the work (not so much during). I’m loving this kind of programming so far.
No lifting today… but here is some food.
Over cooked flank steak (on one side for my wife, she ate maybe 1/4 of it)
4 over easy organic eggs
Big ol salad with some croutons and a little bit of shredded cheese
I’ve been laying off the beef for a while and have been eating a lot more chicken breast because it’s cheap. This was really a treat and it turned out great.
