I work at a county jail in Florida…guys who stay for longer actually start to get skinny fat and I am guessing it is because of the high amounts of sugars and carbs they get.
in Philadelphia County daily they provide:
600 grams carbs
50 grams protein
50 grams fat
every day no matter what…
they must have a dietician that picked this…
this dietician should be fired!
Its all about cost-effectiove. Whatever is cheapest. They will find the cheapest way to sustain you, and that is all. If those carbs from from Cheerios, then so be it.

Same goes for hospitals and nursing homes, hence why I got really fucking irritated when Johnny Bowden (who has no formal training and education in nutrition), in reference to dietitians, “These people think Jello and white breads are good foods to eat during a hospital stay.”
Jello is served as a dessert or part of a clear liquid diet in hospitals. Yeah, white bread is shit.
AS IF dietitians worth their salt, some of whom are the foodservice managers working in insititutions, really approve of all the food choices they’re FORCED to work with. I’d love to talk to an administrator or warden and say, “Chief, I understand you have astronomical expenses and that we lose huge chunks of change because of shitty-paying insurance providers. But do you think we can buy some flax-containing pancakes and pasta; some Grow! instead of Ensure; some Superfood instead of Fibersource; and maybe some grass-fed beef and omega-3 eggs; and start using top-grade olive oil, macadamia, and coconut oil instead of all that Mazola we’re using for everything?”
lol how did this turn into a steroid dorian yates thread again? Steroids make u huge duh i mean friggin Sean Connery was mr olympiad before steroids were around hahaha. Get real retards.
I think prisoners are huge cuz consider one major thing. People with naturally high amounts of testosterone are far far more likely to commit violent crimes than say high estrogen women with big boobs.
They prolly also sneak roids in and are exactly averse to using illegal drugs… which is why half of them are in prison.

I work in a prison, a supermax. Most guys’ physiques suck. What we see mostly on those shows like Lock up Raw is romanticized. I honestly don’t know why they get so much attention. This much I know: They hit the weights at least twice a day. They play basketball for about an hour a day. They do conditioning once a day in the yard. Why? because they have to. They have to be in shape so when shit hits the fan they will be able to fight. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about most officers. Also, even the strongest well conditioned guys can’t do even 8 pullups…nuff said…
Here in Ohio all weights were removed from the prisons and jails after the Lucasville (Southern Ohio Corr.) riots. Inmates couldn’t break through the metal doors, but found a 45 lb. bar works wonders on the cinder blocks all around said door.

so this thread isnt about prisoners anymore?
lemme bring it back then.i don’t post here,i kinda forgot i was on this board but this topic caught my eye.i worked for about 10 years in one of Jerseys biggest prisons in the 80’s and 90’s.i’ve seen guys come in still smoked out from the county(they kinda starve them there)and begin working out.the types of workouts are none that any of us could really comprehend as most are just made up as they go along but let me tell you,i’ve seen guys on a cold january morning, after breakfast do warm-ups with 315 x 15-20,then just bench till they can’t move, train a smaller bodypart at night in the gym and were some of the biggest dudes i’ve ever met.we can all come up with theories and say well they smuggled in juice but 99% of them just ate what they could and worked out like beasts.to see a guy do multiple reps of 600+ when just a few years before could barly do 50 pushups is quite amazing to say the least.

We are real!
You can think they’re huge, but COLLECTIVELY, they’re NOT, which is why I created this thread and there has been much discussion in it.
Aversion means repugnance. If a prisoner is averse to drug use, it means he’s repulsed by it. So you fucked up your wording.
A steroid-Dorian Yates thread AGAIN? Unfortunately, there aren’t many threads dedicated to Dorian on here. If we had more threads about him on here, we’d probably have a lot bigger, less confused men on here.
But Dorian’s principles and method aren’t cool enough for the neurotic, incoherent FREAKS that are now overrunning this site. You know, the following stuff used by Dorian isn’t cool enough:
Progressive overload.
Sticking with a program as long as it’s working.
Independent thinking and tailoring a program to one’s own situation.
Working very, VERY hard.
Keeping things as simple as possible.
