some skinny or smat guy on a bench press, does a rep or two with 95-135lbs, and without racking the weight, will hold the weight at arms lockout and do some leg raises.

several moths ago, before my recent health problems, I was really tearing it up on my OL training, even had some thoughts of doing a masters competition, after looking at the numbers for my age and weight class for my state I saw that my numbers would put me in the thick of things at the state level.
anyhoo, the commercial gym I train at has bumper plates and a OL platform, which is in the corner of the free weight/machine area.
needless to say I was gettting a lot of attention.
this small guy came up to me multiple times, asking me about what I was doing, how to structure a program, and no matter what I said to the guy he just did NOT get it.
I basically told him to grab a barbell and put some weight on it and lift heavy and hard as often as recovery allows.
he would always want to hear something else, and state he did not want to get too big, wanted to “tone” yes thats right, he said “tone” blah blah
I finally and not so nicely told him he was in the wrong place and talking to the wrong person.
I remember saying something to the effect:
" I know how to get you big and strong. If that is not what you are after, I suggest you take up some other activity other than training in a gym, and getting advice from me"

Thanks brah. Still working on the brohawk though. My training plan is basically a lot of walking and sitting. Needs to be balanced. I’m bout 5’10-5’11 110lbs. My diet is apples and coffee. My best lift is getting out of chair with both hands. I think you’re right about the neck. I figure I can break it, so that it wil atrophy in the cast.
