This thread is full of win but that thread you linked is golden! dont know how I missed it.
i do not believe that CK legs pic
Somebody prove me wrong, that THIS is THE mentality of most small dudes (speaking from personal experience of course) and is the end of this thread:
Big dudes are stupid. Small/skinny dudes are smart.
Small dudes need to find THE SECRET to bodybuilding (because it IS a secret and needs something special and magical to be successful). Small dudes need to find out the “under-ground methods” to being huge so that they can over-take the big dudes in gains (instead of copying the principles of big dudes). Small dudes CANNOT just do the simple things that all the other big dudes are doing, it’ll slow them down!
You cannot listen to big guys, because they started off big or got big through genetics and/or steroids. If anyone got huge with drugs, they don’t know what they’re talking about.
Unless they’ve got abs, don’t listen to them; most big guys are just fat.
Even though I’m only 150lbs soaking wet, because I’ve been studying bodybuilding for years, I feel that I’m superior to the big guys. The big guys train wrong/‘un-inteligently’, whereas I know how to train (even though my body says other-wise…but that’s just GENETICS…I can’t help it…I’ve got small wrists blah blah blah).
I’d rather listen to ONE “expert” who speaks fluff out his ass-hole, and stuff that doesn’t even concern me at this stage, than listen to the majority/general consensus of big trainees and move forwards.
I’d rather listen to stupid little detail facts like which type of protein to eat than to the general principles like just eating enough…and anyone who disagrees that whey is better than casein is WRONG. There is only ONE way to do things and you need to do it EXACTLY…and I’ll argue with a person and not listen to them at all if they get one or two things wrong (instead of just taking the “gems”/principles away).
I’ve taken more supplements than any of the big guys put together, have spent thousands on over hyped “get big” e-books on the internet, and even have a folder on my PC full of information/ebooks…so I don’t need advice from the big guys.

THat’s pretty good. Sadly I think it’s also a very astute description of a situation that seems to be more common than not.

FKN LOL!
Yo bra if you want to get really swole without getting too big you gotta cut back on that sleep. That shit is just time for your body to start retaining fat. Stay awake at night downing red bulls and playing video games.
If you can afford it take a MMA class in the Flying Tiger School of Kick Ass. If you can’t afford MMA don’t worry bra there are alternatives. Just get up on that P90X. FUCKIN AWESOME BRA, I know this dude whose kid sister does it, she’s fuckin bangin bra.
Oh shit I almost forgot bra you gotta remember to have a good lunch. I usually go for a smoothie from Smoothie King get it with the Vitamin Blast and Energy Blast. Fuck yeah man.

More than once I’ve felt some sort of discrimination because I’m bigger than other guys. It seems to be conventional knowledge that protein is somewhat related to steroids, and if you take creatin the guy next to you benching 135 is superior.
T-Nation sucks so I go on bodybuilding.com to help out fellow 140lbers on how to get swole. I rep whore, therefore I have so much knowledge that I can tell the already big guys how they need to train and eat to add another 5lbs of muscle. My rep power dictates my knowledge so if anyone chooses to argue their invalid point with me I’ll just neg them and send them into the red, effectively losing all their credibility.

What?? You take protein and creatine?! ![]()
I thought steroids were pretty “free flowing” in Mexico?

LMAO Wow, that just summed up the entire BBing.com forums for me. Some young kid saw me training last week, and I guess he realized that I was the guy whose pic is hanging on the wall at the front desk of the gym, so he politely inquires about how I must spend all my time on the bodybuilding.com forums. I had to explain that the site’s articles are written by teenages who get ‘paid’ with a store credit for supplements, then I told him about T-Nation and put my headphones back on with a smile.

Ignore in-the-trenches knowledge.
If it ain’t backed by true science, hard science, white lab-coat science, it’s not worth your time.

Damn wtf! When I first look at the pic I tot that first guy was pretty jacked for a model…then I saw the legs. This is just ridiculous
You know, some people just aren’t that big yet, but kinda enjoy training anyways.
Wait, fuck it I’ll just juice instead
Quite frankly i’ve been following most of the recommendations given by you guys on this thread and i’m still growing.
Obviously the majority of you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Haha yeah, took me a little while to work out how full of shit that website is. Once I did (around the time I started coming on here and on MD) I rarely visit there unless I’m buying some kind of supp I can’t get here in Australia or if I’m looking for some new exercises to try off their database.
I mean some articles are good for newbies, but once you’ve established the basic knowledge, their articles are redundant. The forums are purely a joke.
Remember to wear your TAPOUT gear when at the gym so people will know that you’re really just into functional muscle, not big bulky roidgut muscle. because you know, MMA dudes don’t do roidz lolz!
Also, don’t do anything else for biceps except Arnold’s 21’s! Oh and pull ups!
Make sure on pull ups you do as many reps as possible to get the pump(like 40), but don’t lower yourself too far down, in fact, only lower down about 6 inches.
And make sure you wear the tightest XXS Under-Armor shirt, so when you’re doing medecine ball crunches on the decline, everyone can see your hot Christian Bale Machinist abs.
