Just stumbled into this thread, in that “Just took my ZMA, but it hasn’t hit me yet” phase of the day. It’s precisely the solid whack upside the head that I needed. I haven’t been training nearly as long as most of the folks on here, but long enough that I ought to know better than to use “I don’t know what training plan I’m doing right…” as an excuse to stay out of the gym.

See, the problem I have is that I live in China. Yeah, it’s a major inconvenience cause the one and only legit gym I have is at my school, which consists of two platforms, a sick pullup bar thing (basically just bars but it’s attached to the ceiling so it’s cool) and some dumbells, the heaviest being around 70lbs.
I started bodybuilding around a year ago, and because I ate like shit I didn’t see any results, and so I followed this coach at my gym for a while (around 8 months?). We did starting strength, pretty much. Not the hypertrophy I was looking for. Now we’re starting oly lifts.
Any advice on how oly lifts affect muscle growth? We train about 3x a week and I usually add my own sessions of chest and back at the end.
