Body Fat % Maintenence

It is. It’s an epidemic.

Here’s a guy with a different version of the same problem. He’s gonna bulk, knows he won’t be real lean while doing it and still this whole discussion is centered around BF%.

Worry about your muscles pal. They’re what need your attention. If you get it in your head that have to have some preset level of bodyfat to grow you may actually wind up fatter than you need to.

You say you’re at 16% which is questionable at best, but if it’s even close you’re talking like gaining more fat is a foregone conclusion. Maybe, but maybe not. Why can’t people just focus on their damn muscles? Just get yourself growing. Once you do that you’ll have some ideas on what to do next.

It’s impossible to precisely plan your diet for the next 2 years ahead of time. You may be the next Olympia contender and wind up needing twice what you’re thinking now or, the way you’re talking you may stuff yourself right outta the gate and wind a waddling pig in 6 months.

Just be sensible and get started.

I realize my muscles need work A LOT!! of it too; like today I did real squats for the first time(yes you can laugh)and my ass is sore as hell(no gay jokes plz). I like the shooting for one pound more than I need thing it’s the only real awnser Ive gotten. Although in my defense I do have trouble pushing the 3000 calorie mark as my folks (who im stuck with for one more year) are not very supportive
