I’ll be on the rowing machine at the gym and if someone sits down next to me, oh boy is it on like donkey kong!

Ok so I had my class today (like I said before) and then headed to the gym… I was definitely not feeling it AT ALL. I just couldnt get into the groove all throughout my warm up and everything. Shoot some hoops which usually gets me going but my legs felt dead. I didnt do any jumping and figured I’d get right into squats.

That was also a terrible idea. They were feeling like poop and I was not into it today so I did

and then I went home lol. What a lame-o

Got some In N Out on the way home so hopefully the 4x4 will make me feel better. Got another football game tomorrow. We’re 4-1 and tied for first place with another 4-1 team. We play them tomorrow and I’m excited. We should smash on those dudes so we’ll see how it goes.

had a lot of stuff going on lately but got into the gym yesterday.

I was feeling like I had some pretty weak squatting over the past couple workouts so I wanted to start with squats yesterday even though I’d done legs on friday.

135x15
225x10
275x8
315x5,5,5 drop set to 225x12 drop to 135x25

That last big drop set was all done without really locking out… just “continuous reps” and it was nice. i had a really good let pump going.

Then got into flat bench. Bad idea to start with squats like that cause i was burned out

worked up to 275 x 5,5

DB Incline
75’sx12
90’sx10
100’sx8
80’sx15 w/ slow negative/no lockout

Dips
4x20

some cable flys and pec deck/reverse pec deck

Jump rope for 1 minute/10 max height jump burpees/rest 1 minute

stretch and go home. Not a bad training day but my diet has been way off lately. I really need to dial that in and get more serious about what I’m eating and how I train. To be honest, I’ve kinda been in a training funk lately and have had a lot of subpar workouts. Maybe I need to up my conditioning or something… I’m not sure. I’ll figure it out. Maybe a need some stims or a pre workout or something to help boost me out of this funk? Not sure.

Oh and I took a couple “progress” pics at the gym and they were… uh… not awesome lol.

EDIT: Oh and I slept on my shoulder weird and it is hurting like a Bee Eye Tea Sea H (couldnt think of a cool way to spell the letter H)
I sleep on my side with my arm under my pillow and extended up over my head a lot of the time and I think i just slept on it weird last night but it hurts like a mofo this morning. i’m gonna ice it up and try to get it moving around after that and see whats up. No me gusta

Maybe you just need a super awesome PL workout, done with your bestest e-buds? You’ll get it figured out man, once you can get 1 solid session in, you’re set. It’s ALL mental. All of it. Get your head right, and everything else will lock itself out.
