I used to be really into flatland when I was younger. I still have my old GT Pro Performer in the shed. I actually look on Ebay from time to time looking for a GT Pro Freestyle Tour. Dayglow orange would be my chosen color!
Also the movie Rad was just on TV recently. I have it saved on my DVR. Just the end credits though. I used to watch the opening credits, the dance scene and the closing credits with Martin Aparijo and R.L. Osbourne.

Wow! You had the GT Pro Performer. What a sweet ride that was. Back in the day, that was like the #1 bike to have. I remember when Rad came out, you know it’s been 20 yrs. now! Bart Conner, the gymnast, that was the best movie. Also had that one hot babe in it.
Osbourne was the man. When I was younger I went to a show & saw Eddie Fiolia or however you spell it. Still have his ad with the Vans shoes, he signed it for me.
I might get into freestyle too, I could actually pull off some tricks now that I have some strength.
Anyone else?

Martin Aparijo was my favorite. I saw him in a competition once in New Jersey. He wont it. Dennis McCoy came in second. It was the first time Martin did a bar spinning Miami Hopper and an Undertaker! The crowd went nuts.

That’s cool. I don’t remember Aparijo, but I bet if I saw some pics I would remember him. Wow, Dennis McCoy was big time, I remember him quite well. I hope those guys raked it in with the $$ & are livin’ the good life now.

You dont remember Martin?!?!?!?! He was GT’s boy. He had the rat tail hair cut (so did I He wa mexican I believe. Here is a photo. I cant find a pic of his face.
The older guys didnt make too much money. R.L. did have a ridiculous contract. Like $250,000 a year. But other than that if they still arent riding now chances are they dont have muhc money left. I think Martin runs a skate park

I now remember Martin, he & Eddie Fiola had the rat tails! And I had one too, man, those things were popular!
Here’s a link I found of some BMX racers doing some training.
They’ll be racing in wheel chairs soon if they keep up the plyos in the street! Crazy bastards!

Damn that sucks! That is my only concern, getting hurt. I’m still undecided, looking at bikes, health insurance etc. Lol.
