Tjames , it seems good to me.
May be a little edema but nothing wrong with that.
Put something, a pillow etc under your feet so you help to reabsorb the edema.
Do some isometric for cuads, move you feet like if your were using a pedal.
And use ice on the knee if it hurts. Applications of 20 minutes make miracles !!!
Again sorry for my English, still out of practice
no worries man, thanks for the advice!
i’m rotating a vascu-therm (cryocuff) for one hour which gets it nice and cold - makes it feel tons better. After that, they gave me this leg flex machine that bends it back and forth for me. Right now, I am at 50 degrees. The Dr. said I shouldn’t go past 60 degrees, rather, thats what the physical therapy is for.
but yeah, I am pleased so far, with the exception of my achilles. there is some pain still in the knee when I wake up, but outside of that, it has been incredibly manageable. I really expected that it would be much worse than it is.
I just can’t wait until I can get back into the gym! I have a ton of stuff that I need to get working on…but I am forcing myself to take it slow. I definitely don’t want to go too hard to soon, just to get injured again.
Well… I don’t use to much flex machines, like more the active flex of the knee.
About the degrees, just keep what your doc told you. Usually 90º of flexion at first month it’s ok.
Keep working on your full extension.
If you like please post o pm your rehab program when you start it.
Cheers!
