Phew, Last night I thought I was getting sick… had some sniffling and sneezing and was really tired…
Woke up this morning, pretty much fine, still a bit tired, but I think it’s the DST more than anything…
All of a sudden the cold came out though… brrrrr freeeeeeeeeezing outside this morning…
One thing I took for granted a year ago… when you weigh 285lbs you sure are warm all winter…
I’m finally feeling the plague of freezing winter temps on my newly built body… It sucks… gotta pick up sweaters and what not or else I’ll freeze this winter.
225.2 again today, well thats good I guess, didn’t go up, didn’t go down… but I lost a significant amount in the first week anyway (3.4lbs)
Ugh… I need to keep my motivation high in these winter months… I want to do nothing but fucking sleep when all day…
I’m very much a solar person, driven by the sun, When I leave for work its barely daylight and when I leave from work its getting dark… very upsetting and easy to just get a “not today” feeling about the gym.

That’s the worst part of winter, never seeing the sun, go in when it’s dark drive home when it’s dark, well that and the snow, I hate driving in the snow.
As for motivation, think about how good you’re gonna looking this summer sitting around the pool if you put in the time now. Besides why not be in the gym when it’s too cold and dark to do anything else.
Yep, I keep thinking about Jan 2nd when I take that 1 Year Picture, if I’m gonna be a sexy beast or if I’m gonna think, well that took a year, and looks like I have another year to go…
Something is wrong, or something is right… something is just mysterious…

Water weight… definitely, I’ve been drinking 6-10 liters of water a day, I piss a lot, and I’m pretty hydrated. I dunno, maybe not, the morning piss is showing that I’m dehydrated… so I should be retaining more water in the morning than at night?
I don’t know water weight is a crazy concept to me… Who knows if I’ve been just flushing out water or if I’m actually losing for real…
I happened across the get shredded in 6 days article… wow, I wasn’t even attempting this but looks like I had been doing it… sort of…
It calls for drinking 2.5-3 gallons of water each day for 5 days, or 9.5-11.5 liters, low carb, and then cut water completely and go high carb… now thats the part where it differs, I don’t exactly go high carb nor do I cut water, but the article describes the first part as putting your body into flushing mode, where you just go all the time and are dumping excess water…
This wasn’t the plan, and like the article says, it won’t do shit for you if your fat, like me.
Funny I just figured out water manipulation on my own…
anyway, awesome workout today… I combined thurs and friday together since I was just not motivated at all last night.
Someone woman approached me when I was doing my HIIT bike sprints and asked me how much weight i’d lost and how she could really tell… it was nice to know its noticeable to other gym goers… but it was kind of weird cuz I didn’t recognize her at all and she said, “I always see you here…”
She was with her husband or man friend or something… so I know she didn’t want me to ravage her like some neolithic crude tool using caveman…
Me want fuck, you give me fuck, me drag you back cave, me fuck.
Did you ever have you BF% measured before you started all this? I did not and certainly wish that had, would be very cool to know how much difference we’ve made.
Found out yesterday that my instructor can do BF measurements, I guess I should have known but never really thought about. I’m going to hit him up next week to get mine done…I’m scared.
Man, no one ever talks to me at my gym… no one ever even looks at me in my gym.
that get shredded in 6 days, isnt that only good if you are all ready under 10%? I dunno though… I think you can lose a shit load of water weight just be drinking shit loads, but it will come back pretty quick… it wont be a long term loss.

Yea, I just drink a lot, I found that article and was like… oh really this is actually an established thing BBuilders do?
I mean I’m not cutting water and doing the exact same stuff, but I laughed cause its calls for drinking 2.5-3 gallons and i’m doing that regularly…
I can’t imagine only ingesting 2 nalgenes worth of fluid a day… (64 oz)

No… so I mean its pretty dumb to get it measured now… I’m not at any specific milestone, so instead I’m going to get it measured at the end of this program before i start up CF… my original try at the Zone had me gain weight, through research I think i was way over blocked… I mean I was eating 1/2 of Cheese a day… considering that I eat about 1/2 as much as I did then on the plan I’m on… I am betting I just was eating too much…
So yea, pre-Zone… do it for 2 months, measure again…
That puts me at a December 8th and Feb 2nd schedule…
Sounds good, my goals will be more specific when I baseline in Dec.
So I’m almost done, is there a huge difference in my physique?
No.
Whatever…
Last night I had a great workout:
8 Circuits
4 Reps
A1: One Arm Lat Pulldowns
75 Lbs
A2: One Arm DB Flat Bench
75 Lbs
A3: Single Leg Deads
pair of 35lbs
I added reps as stated in the progression but also added some weight (5-10lbs) where possible… I dont think I could’ve added weight to flat bench, but not a huge concern since my gym only has 75lbs DBs max anyway…
Another thing to note, my endurance or cardio must be great… I’ve been doing these routines with minimal rest… Just the time it takes to walk over to the next station and begin… 5-10s?
Maybe when I take pics they’ll be a big difference, I highly doubt it.
