Ok, so before my workout today I did this tabata yoga class (no homo), and a lot of the poses involve holding yourself up on your arms. Long story short, my shoulders were not a fan, and this carried over to when I tried to bench. So I said screw it, and went for a pump workout. Shoulders were achy today, so I didn’t go too heavy on the pressing, did some higher reps than usual on closegrip too. Used an elbow sleeve for my left arm, which has been aching where the tricep attatches to the elbow, and felt good, no pain today.

Deads were done on this new bar we got, which I’m not crazy about. The knurling starts a lot farther from the center of the bar, so I have to widen my grip and stance a decent amount (probably another 6" apart). 455 went up fast.
