Decent session. I think I might start going for 5x3 instead of 5x5 on this second leg session and go for heavier triples. We’ll see. Decent session considering my back felt terrible today.

Funny story, my friend had me try on his belt right before the 175 set, he made me stomach vacuum to tighten it to the maximum we could, and after i tried it out (it actually made back squats tolerable) we couldn’t get it off for like 5 minutes. It sucked because it was making it hard to breathe.

I made a friend who doesn’t work out come do the legs session with me today. He was back squatting and getting close to failure with 115x7, and he wasn’t going to parallel. At the end of the workout, he told me he doesn’t want to do squats anymore… lol.

Man you’re having PR session after PR session. Keep it up man! I’ll be following along and lol at the friend you made workout.

LMAO about the belt. I remember when I got my belt, I tried it on at home. My back was hurting so it was a good time to do a test drive. Got it the max I could, but taking it off took forever. My mom says “People usually have problems putting on belts, not taking them off” hee hee

About your non-squatting friend, that’s how they all are. It annoys me, so kudos to you for tolerating it. My friend has a short-temper and when his roommate gave him a hard time about training legs, my friend almost tore his head off.

Yeah Nikki, I was happy to be hitting my PR number with my back feeling bad.

The belt is funny now, but wasn’t amusing at the time.

I’m going to give the friend the benefit of the doubt and try to make him go again next weekend, but we’ll see.
