Solid pressing man. You’re making some nice strength gains in here. How’s the BW these days?
Thanks man. I was happy with it. Weighed in today and I was sitting at like 187.5lbs. So the gains have slowed a little bit, but I haven’t been the best about eating over the past few days.

were those Rack Pulls?
Um, give them back.
Lol. I have no idea what you mean by that. Have you stopped doing them or something?
Holy shit dude, that’s some serious progress you’ve made with training a bit over a year seriously. It doesn’t even look like it could be you in both pics.

Thanks man!
I didn’t really even squat until last summer, and even then the squats were high(way above depth) until the late fall/winter, then my back injury flared up again, and I could only front squat until marchish when i started using a PL belt.
Deads got up to 350ish before the injury (2009), then I didn’t break 315x3 again until March (also when I started using a PL belt).
Didn’t do barbell bench again until last summer.
In retrospect, I wasted a shitload of time avoiding the major compounds and not focusing on calorific intake lol. Oh well, while according to PX I may not be cut out for this ( years to hit 225+ bench and still sub 200), I’m still happy with the 60ish pounds I’ve gained since I’ve started.

I’m thinking the hair change is the fact that you can see my scalp due to this short haircut lol. I’m gonna hope I’m not balding already haha.

<3 Paint shop pro, but only to put them side by side, I swear. haha.
MiM-thanks! Hoping to keep the PRs coming as long as possible.
Bug-obviously! haha. I thought it was funny that I downloaded a bunch of their songs and trained to them, then gerdy made a post thanking you for showing them to him. Just good timing I guess. lol.
Meadows Stretchers (pause at both full stretch and full contraction)(liked these)
180x10
190x10
200x10 (full stack at the station I used. I might switch to one of the harder outside cable stations, they only have one pullley as opposed to two and are harder, but there’s not really any good place to put my foot up. I’ll figure something out I guess). (can’t use lat pulldown for this, it’s too close to the wall)
Hammer Str Pulldown (done one hand at a time)
2ppsx6
2p+25 psx8
2p+35 psx8
3ppsx8
Seated Hammers
40’sx8
45’sx8
50’sx8
Chin
bwx8
Rack Chins (wanted to try)
bwx12
bw+40x8
(wasn’t crazy about these)
Chin burnout
bwx14
done. Biceps were kinda sore (I think from holding position on leaning laterals, actually), so I didn’t hit them much. Back was nice and toasty.
Legit front squats… Do you feel like you’re getting choked out by FS’s? I think its my structure or whatever but when I have the bar rested in that little nitch in my delts it is RIGHT on my throat/adams apple… sucks going “heavy”
if you’re grip on the lean away laterals becomes an issue, you can always try them out on an adjustable incline bench. Just lay on it sideways and adjust the incline to the right “lean away” angle. Just a thought.
