Blaze-Better Dead than Average

Finals over! Congrats! Are you going home for the summer then?

Oh, and you had me at Ham and Jalapeno pizza. Yum!

I’m new to the incline bench concept. You’re using DB’s then? I’ve been using the Bar but keeping my feet up, like I’m sitting in an invisible chair deal. Have to balance. I’m small enough that it’s hard for me to have the seat up high enough to rack it, but still have my feet on the bar. Maybe I need to just do more incline benching at a bench w/ DBs. Hummm… Gettin’ ideas over here!

your lucky, if I took two weeks off from the gym and didn’t eat big, I’d probably GAIN 10lbs.

wanna trade genetics?

Grats on finishing your final…thats a good feeling!!

Back

Pullups
bw 15x8
bw 25x8
bw 30x8
bw 35x7.75 couldn’t get that last couple inches.

Seated Low Row
230x10
240x10
250x10 clean

Pendlay Rows
205x10
215x10
225x10 PR

Deadlifts
265x4
315x10 Rep PR

DB Rows
100x20/arm rep PR (especially considering I did these last)

Tried to do biceps but I had a pressure headache from the deads and rows and felt like death. Still, happy with this all.

On deads, my lower back felt really bad today so I decided to just try repping it out instead of going heavy.
Probably could have gotten 12, but I have to move a bar, three couches, and a bunch of logs tonight.

First time working out since last tuesday. Between finals, moving my sister, moving myself, and the end of school, I’ve been crazy busy. Found out last night that the place we were planning on living from mid-may to next june won’t work out, so we have until the end of June to find a new place. Trying to get a job. Lots of stress. Sorry for dropping the ball everyone. Nutrition has been horrible. Pre-workout nutrition today was mcdonalds. Finally got time to go shopping today though, so I can start eating clean again.

Thanks! I’m going to stay at school for the summer. That pizza WAS amazing.
Yeah, the incline is done with DB’s. If you’re trying to work stablizing muscles in your shoulders/arms, dumbells are the way to go. I don’t think I’d like benching with my feet up, sounds pretty unstable.

Haha at this point in time, sure? lol. Thanks!

Nice back session. Periods of crappy eating/being busy are a part of life. As long as you get back on track, then you’re golden.

Awesome PRs, I love the vids best <3

I’m sorry about all the stress, I hope everything works out. Hang in there babe =D

Thanks! Yeah, I know, it’s just annoying when you have everything relatively stress-free, then suddenly it seems like everything is dumped on you at once.

Thanks Nikki <3 I try to get vids as much for the people of my log as for form checks. Glad you enjoy them :).

Everything will work out, I just have to summon up the motivation to deal with all of these problems. (doesn’t help that summer school starts in two weeks.)

if you start benching with your feet up i gurantee you get teabagged idc what weight or if you pull a muscle trust in me that it will happen

Tyler-I have no idea what that means, unless it’s addressed to Powderpuff?

Progress Pic time!
Compare to pics on page 2. It’s been about fifty days since those last pics. I feel like I’ve leaned up a little bit while adding some quality mass. Thoughts?

Front double Bi first

quads

Hamstring pose

Back Double Bi

the light in the place I’m staying right now really makes me look like I have a lot of definition haha.

Lat Spread

last one

Side Chest

Still no bicep peak  lol. Oh well, you can’t do anything for that besides adding overall bicep mass. People like bug give me hope that my arms can be big someday.

Agreed, keep on truckin!

<3

your arm insertions are very very similar to mine. Your posing isnt the most flattering either in some poses, lol, but overall man you’re doing a good job. Get those weights up, get the food in, and in a few years you’ll be a big fella.

Nice lats, Blaze! Even from the front, you’ve got quite a bit of back showin’. Overall, looking good. Enjoyed the vids. Everybody seems to be on the Pendalays lately. I guess I’m gonna have to try them. I used DBs for my incline bench tonight and I liked them. I seem to be able to hit my lower chest better, more control or something.

Tyler - LOL! about the feet up on the incline bench. I had never used it, so I asked this personal trainer who was walking around to help me. He told me that’s what he does, and showed me how. Thinking about it, it makes no sense, right? Unless you are looking for some torso exercise maybe, because you have to struggle to keep from falling off the bench! I will stop doing it before the cool kids see!

EDIT: Oh, and staying up at school for the summer is awesome. Fewer people, less crowded classrooms, and I got my B.S. out of the way in 3 years that way!

Lookin thicker…

now just keep going!

Haha. I know my posing is a little rough. Hearing my arms are like yours is a good thing, as you got yours pretty big, I hopefully can too! Thanks for stopping in!

Thanks, Powerpuff! Pendlays are awesome for developing back strength. Glad you liked the db incline as well. Unfortunately, with my major (computer engineering), I’m probably going to have to take summer school just to make it out in 4 years.

Thanks! I’m planning on it!

About to take a nap before working out in 2 hours. Loaded and unloaded a trailer full of logs with Matt. Easily 2000+lbs worth of logs, average weight being 150lbs or so. Attatched is a picture of the fully loaded trailer and truck bed.

you can totally handly the occasional mcD’s man, but the mass is coming along nicely.

good job on all those PRs and hope the school/money/moving stress blows over quickly. I remember going through all that crap a couple of years back…

I regret nothing and its only brought me good.
